Ok, so we are supposed to have an embargo on Skyrim info until the Feb GI. Personally, while I can wait a bit longer, I feel like having a tiny bit of info before then could keep the hype train rolling. I was thinking maybe, say, a single screenshot on Christmas. It would be an excellent gift to all the fans who have been on this thread for months or years and would be an awesome way to recognize the game on a day most commonly associated with winter and therefore snow (think about it). Please, Bethesda, do this tiny thing for us. Thanks, we all love you.

I would love info and screenshots before the GI cover. But unfortunately I don't think we're going to get any. Ah well, at least the GI will contain a ton of information!

I doubt anything will get officially released. However, I'm sure there are many other places besides GI that have seen Skyrim or will be seeing before that issue is released. Perhaps a screenshot or two or some information might get leaked. It happens all the time.

I put my heart and soul into this plea, please do it. Even if it is a non-official drop. Just put the screen in some thread from a non-official Bethesda messenger. It is truly my hope that you will give us anything before the game informer exposition of it.

In the podcast Tod Howard said they would show GI in early or mid january.

It isn't likely to happen, but just one screen shot would be the best Christmas present ever. Even a general landscape pic would do, though having a general NPC in the shot would be even better.

It wont happen, GI would have a contract with beth so that beth cant show anything till the mag comes out.....GI properbly paid big money to have a first look exclusive in their magazine.

I sincerely doubt they'd show a screenshot at this time.
But more realisticly how about a picture of the Bethesda crew wearing santa hats or something similar?
Atlus has already done something like this so I dare you to challenge them, Bethesda.

Ya, they obviously have a deal with GI. You can figure how high the sales will be of their next issue, judging by the hype. They probably payed Bethesda a good bit for the exclusive rights to publish ingame screenshots and information in the US, with similar deals in other countries. No chance for a leak, I'm afraid.
