Screen Legend Christopher Lee Has Died at the Age of 93 !!!

The decision to release the news days after was based on his wife’s desire to inform family members first. The couple had been married for over 50 years.

Lee was said to have previously been treated for respiratory problems and heart failure.

A great actor, a great star, a surprisingly good singer and a lovely lovely man.

I'm so damn bummed about this, he was one of my all time favorite actors. Guy was a legend. At the same time, it isn't hugely surprising, since he was 93. Still, the fact that he was still acting right up until the end is damn impressive.

He'll be greatly missed. :(

Christopher Lee's dead - undead, undead, undead.

Oh it's been a crap year, so many legends have passed away. He did seem very frail last time i saw him interviewed on tv, so it's no great surprise this. Very saddening to lose such a terrific actor. Time to rewatch The Whicker Man.

Important to remember also that this was a guy who was the last living person to have had M R James read ghost stories to in his room at Cambridge, who knew both JRR Tolkien and Mervyn Peake. Incredible life.

Really sorry to hear that, one of the greatest British actors. He lived to a good old age.

The Dracula that all others should aspire to be.

I always loved it when a Hammer horror film came on and he was in it.

He will be sorely missed.

I understand that he was a member of the SAS during WWII. He was even in a forerunner of the SAS as well.
