he's always there north of Whiterun. He might not be there if you start the Brotherhood quests.

I popped the console command on him at level 37 and he has: 99 one handed, 94 sneak, 67 marksman and 67 light armor. Pretty damn impressive stats.

I'm pretty sure he does bonus damage with a dagger cause like I said I saw him one-hit-kill-----backstab a level 40+ bandit with his default blade. It might just be his gloves that give him the bonus, but he didn't sneak up on him.

I like him too.
I think he is the only memorable character in Skyrim, probably.

His voice is like nails on a chalk board.

This, and he's just an insanely stupid character. What's Bethesda's deal with these type of characters since Oblivion? They're not funny or amusing, they're just offensively bad. Sheogorath wasn't too bad in Shivering Isles, but I wanted to impale him in Skyrim. On one hand you have Bethesda trying to make Skyrim the most realistic possible, on the other hand they throw you incredibly improbable and stupid characters that scream "hey, I'm a video game character". Everyone from the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion gave me the same impression. Sheogorath is more understandable though, but he's still annoying.

At the end of the DB questline too when he was all like
"You were a fool to save me, now I'm gonna skip rope with your intestines! mwahahahah >:]

....

....

LOL Jk"

I was all like "Oh, you  "

Did you even read Cicero's journals? He isn't a "dumb" character. My bet says that you didn't.

You probably didn't even do his starting quest before meeting the DB.

LOL and when you bring him to Windhelm he goes:

"I'm a fan of the butcher's work. He's probably like STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB....and then...STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB-STAB." - Cicero

LOL, it was even funnier because that's all he does when I see him in battle. That jester loves to stab.

Cicero makes a cooler joker than Jack Nicholson or that Brokeback mountain guy combined.

Come on now... Let's not go overboard here.

His voice actor did a tremendous job on him. A true jester.
I daresay his is the best voicework in the game.

Who cares about the journals? I mean, if his acting is embarrassing and annoying and unrealistic, does the journal erase this from my memory? I mean, one of the problems I had with the Oblivion voice acting (particularly Dark Brotherhood characters) is that they felt like being from the "Cyrodiil theatre troupe", which is not a good thing. Cicero feels like being from the "Skyrim theatre troupe" in an even more annoying fashion. He's still a dumb character. Maybe he's somewhat intelligent or whatnot, I don't care if he's actually a genius, but Bethesda's writer were probably drunk when designing certain aspects of him (like when the voice actor was doing his work). And as you know, while it's fun drinking, doing stuff while drunk rarely gives good results.

Ever since I first saw him I immediately new he was a part of the Dark Brotherhood even before joining it. Especially once he said "Mother" I knew what he truly was (Okay I thought he was the listener and not the keeper). I usually keep the master dragon priest mask on him to hide his poor lip syncing, I also gave him the Razor. The only time I find my sweet, sweet Cicero annoying is when I summoned Lucian and had them talking in tandem. They never shut up when they're together :cold:

Read his journals... very interesting... From what I got outta them, he was the adoring fan from OB, or at least acted like one. I read that he posed as a fan and followed the grand champion around, only to kill the grand champion. Very interesting reads.

Taken from the 1st Volume:
"27th of Rain's Hand, 4E 187 Completed the Arena contract. I ultimately decided to pose as a starstruck fan, and immediately got into the Grand Champion's good graces. While escorting the arrogant fool through the Great Forest, I slashed his throat and left the corpse for the bears."
