I would love to have that Daedric God of insidious wishes as a companion. Clavicus Vile. He's hilarious.

Read his journals... very interesting... From what I got outta them, he was the adoring fan from OB, or at least acted like one. I read that he posed as a fan and followed the grand champion around, only to kill the grand champion. Very interesting reads.

Taken from the 1st Volume:
"27th of Rain's Hand, 4E 187 Completed the Arena contract. I ultimately decided to pose as a starstruck fan, and immediately got into the Grand Champion's good graces. While escorting the arrogant fool through the Great Forest, I slashed his throat and left the corpse for the bears."

As bad as he annoyed me, I can't hate him just because of the humor aspect. I can't have him as a follower because he annoys me, but he's definitely one of the better, more interesting characters in the game, haha.

I like him too.
I think he is the only memorable character in Skyrim, probably.

I'd probably like him if it wasn't for those sound barrier breaking squeels he lets out on occasion.

Cicero wrote what I thought- We need the Night Mother and the tenets, not some loser who won't obey the tenets or the old ways.

Without the Night Mother and tenets, the DB would be nothing more than mercenaries. Dare I say....they would be the companions.

I found him to be rather annoying. I would've killed him had I not had Lucian summoned. Lucian said that Sithis did not wish for him to die, and so I let him live.

Exactly. It would be like the Thieves Guild without Nocturnal.

Cicero is a fantastically deep character, which fully makes up for any occasional annoyance.

I absolutely hated Cicero when he first showed up. (I didn't meet him until after I started the DB questline.) It wasn't until after I read his journals and ultimately decided to spare him and bring him on as a follower that I found him to be hilarious. After meeting him, every other character in Skyrim (that I've met, anyway) just seems mundane.

That's right. You can't call yourself a true DB and then say "oh I killed Cicero because I hate Jesters."

"oh wait, Astrid, you [censored] !"

Clavicus Vile (Daedric Prince of Insidious Wishes) is a really good character and Paarthunax. Those Legion blades have no respect for Dovah. I kill Dovah, but I respect them.

The voice acting of Cicero was good. Good to the point where I actually hated him.

Imo, it takes very good acting, voice or otherwise, to create a truly detestable character, rather than a run off the mill generic_villian_001.

Case in point, if you've ever watched Stargate, Colonel Maybourne is an insanely annoying character. But what made him stand out as an antagonist was brilliant acting on Tom McBeath's part.

Personally, I loved Karliah and the thieves guild storyline. It was very detailed and memorable, unlike the companions or mage's guild.

I know right?

I don't get why there are so many people who hate him. It's impossible to do so, especially after you've read his story.

His behaviour is somewhat similar to the adoring fan in oblivion i suppose. Soooo people link em up, and..

DIE CICERO DIE.

Though yea i like him as well. Was kinda freaked out when i read his journal though. Not to mention it was late at night :ninja: and then i had to go into the dungeon.

I love this guy. He cracks me up. Loved his starting quest and he's hilarious. And he's damn good with a dagger, give him some light armor and he goes nuts, lol.

My second favorite companion is the Daedra I summon from my Sanguine Rose staff. So bad ass.

If anyone reads A Song of Ice and Fire, he sort of reminds me of Shagwell, which needless to say is pretty awesome.

This. HATED Cicero. So much that I read his journals just to see how creepy he was and get some beef on him. These are the kind of characters that give this game life.

And again, I agree with you on Karliah. Her voice was so soothing. Very well done.

God I hate(d) Cicero.

Ciciro is awesome, but companions esp for assassin chars in this game are so......freaking......useless.....your trying to sneak and he pulls a leroy jenkins of course most every companion does this but makes me mad cause this is an ASSASSIN char and you cant really say ciciro did it due to personality cause i believe everyone including the initiates do it Companion AI in skyrim is terrible, so terrible it almost has you crying at how awesome skyrim is yet they're "Amazing supped up improved AI" is dumb as a rock melee companions Firing bows 99% of the time, assassin chars pulling LERRROOYYY JEENNNKINNNSSS when your trying to sneak and i dont even understand what the [censored] is with the companion commands, they do nothing, besides go where u want them to and play dolly with them((Make them look like they're doing something like forging)) and 99% of the time they will NOT unlock [censored] for me saying "nope cant do it" even if they are assassins or in my case i had mjoll the lionness open a masterlock then ten min later she said no to an adept lock............only good thing companions are for is fodder, and packmules((would also like to point out mjoll is more of a talker than ciciro jesus christ on a stick she will keep talking even when im talking to someone "YOU KNOW IVE AS MUCH DEATH AS TEN LIFE TIME AND YET I STILL NEVER TIRE OF A GOOD FIGHT, WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THAT?" i make that your an annoying [censored] who wont shut her mouth even if the world was at stake.......WHICH IT IS!!!!!!!

Cicero is great, first thing out of the sanctuary with him, and Dawnstar gets attacked by a Blood Dragon. Thing practically lands on Cicero's head, but does faithful Cicero fear? No, he screams at the top of his lungs "FALL, DAMN YOU!" and begins hacking away at it.

I think he's essential too, I hid and had him fight Mjoll, and although he never actually took her down, she never beat him either, she just got him down on one knee, then he got back up and started stabbing everyone again. :D
