Cinematic camera in dialogues

This really makes a big difference when talking to people, amd this is in EVERY dialogue scene, not just important people.

Compare this to Dragon Age Inquisitions 80% lifeless conversations, only important dialogues are cinematic in that game the rest is talking with statue people. I don't care that Bioware ran the game on Frostbite3 and that the game looks great when they couldn't be bothered to have a cinematic camera in dialogues, which kinda ruins a game about friends and companions just FYI.

Bioware should learn from Bethesda in this regard, awesome feature!

Graphics on PC are nice aswell, running smooth on AMD Radeon 7970 on high settings.

Superb game so far.

I agree, this really brings a nice feel to the game's dialogue, love the atmosphere it brings.

Spoilers coming up in this post, kinda.

After taking on the Raiders and Deathclaw I marched back into the building with my beat up power armour missing an arm, leg, and helmet, and talking to Garvey during that scene was the first time I noticed how nice it was to have dynamic cutscenes for dialogue. Real nice.

At first I wasn't used to it but now it feels so real. When you walk up to an NPC and press talk, they don't just jump into a monologue as if they were your friend! Instead, you press the button and your guy/gal says "hey..." or "excuse me ma'am".... and then the NPC usually ignores you or mumbles something, or if they have something to say then they will turn around and address you. No more fantasy land where every NPC will pour their heart and soul out to you.

Only issue I have with the camera is then you are in a thigh spot like an doorway you end up watching you neck.

Did they lie about being able to have conversations in first person? Or is that still a thing? I absolutely hate the third person conversations and prefer to play the game entirely in first person.

I don't know - I kind of miss Oblivion's absolutely terrifying OMFGZOOMINTOFACE dialogue.
