Tyr gazed out the window of the Council Chambers for a moment, looking out at the wide landscape displayed before him. Could the Daedra really have closed all the gates on the island? Surely, they wouldn't give up so easily? There had to be some other reason for it. But whether or not the Daedra had something larger in store for Vvardenfell, it would be foolhardy for him and the others, the Arch Master and the Duke, not to take advantage of the momentary respite.

"I'll get my boys to start gatherin' up anybody who might be useful," Tyr told the others, still staring out the window as he clasped his hands firmly behind his back. "Mages, Daedra experts. Hell, maybe we can even get the Imperial Cult to send in a few of their healers." He turned to the Redoran Arch Master, nodding slightly. "As long as that damn eyesore is surroundin' the island, we're cut off from any reinforcements. Gotta make sure that when those damned uglies show up again, we can meet em' in full force."

He turned now to the Duke; from what he'd seen up to now, he couldn't depend on the same degree of aid and cooperation from him as he had from House Redoran. But, even he could see the writing on the wall; they had to work together. "Duke, you might want to speak with the Telvanni, see if they're willing to lend us a hand in findin' out what the hell is goin' on. In the meantime, I think we should work on fortifying the cities, and maybe evacuating some of the smaller settlements. Shouldn't spread out our forces too thin."

Vivec, Temple Canton

The Ordinator would stare at the so called messenger with the slight nod of his head. Dagon Fel?
He certainly didn't want to be stationed there.
In fact, no Ordinator would. In fact, no Ordinator ever had been.

The Ordinator would unknowingly smile beneath his mask.

"My apologies Serjo, right this way." He rumbled in his scratchy voice, turning partially as if it set to guide him deeper into the Office halls before he'd snap violently around, his shield lifted hoping to smash directly into Serosi's masked face, simultaneously tearing his mace from his side.

The nearby Ordinator bearing the torch had been watching the scene, and tore his own mace from the side. He would shout "Unmask yourself!"
The five distant Ordinators drew their maces as well and began to approach in a battle readied position, maces high.

"Show yourself, Now!" The shield swinging Ordinator would order him, though complying with the order meant nothing.
He'd be attacking him more regardless.

For a moment Serosi thought that the lie had worked. Appearently he had not spend enough time in Vvardenfell and had a nasty surprise coming his way. He quickly recoiled as the Ordinator had to spin all the way around for the shield strike. Even so the disquise was clumbsy and he managed to only narrowly dodge the strike from doing damage but the mask was knocked onto the ground. He couldn't remain in shock, Serosi had to react. Behind the curtain of his cave a steel bolt shot out at close range for the center mass of the Ordinator. He had a crossbow hidden along with a half dozen or so bolts. Only one was needed to fullfil his contract.

Serosi spoke a word quickly and echoed with arcane prowess. The inside of the mask had a scroll plastered onto the inside which held a spell. His words unlocked it and as he did he threw himself backwards out of his Ordinator disquise to reveal a smaller slendered built assassin. And so the spell went off, a tactic his mentor had taught him before. Within a twenty foot radius everyone caught in the spell would be levitated ten feet up for half a minute. Serosi's backward leap which would normally end painfully down the Temple Canton stairs, provided him the momentum he needed to float away. Since nothing in the air would stop him, the momentum carried him high over the crowd which if not already in shock and awe concerning the exchange, would surely be on the basis of the high acrobatic 'leap.'

Ald'ruhn
A half a dozen men and women dressed in robes of varying colors emerged from the shell-like door to the Ald'Ruhn Guild of Mages, and many of them looked as dirtied, tired, and battle-embittered as the Redoran warriors around them. At least three sported openly visible dressed wounds, arms and legs and hands wrapped in salve-soaked cloth. Each of them carried a satchel over their shoulders, and determination in their eyes. Like their Arch-magister said, they would heal the wounded, do their part when the Temple found its healers overrun.

And so the six left their warm, though not unscathed hall, and sought warriors to give their services upon. Those that said no, would find the mages moving on to other men, their satchels unbiased in relieving of their contents. Herbs, potions, cloths soaked in potions; each satchel carried this and more, or some of this and none of the other. Whatever the mages could assemble quickly in the wreckage of their guildhall, they utilized to those willing.

And with the information of a runner, three of them began to seek the need of aid within the inns of the city.

-Guild of Mages-
"What happened?"

"I... I..." Hestion gently put his ashen fingers to the Breton's lips, calming his quivering voice into silence without spellcraft. The man was sitting in one of the few remaining chairs still intact, shuddering and shaking at intervals while Hestion knelt on the ground in front of him. Edwinna was standing off to the side, arms folded anxiously. Manis' quivering slowed and died away, and Hestion let him sit for a short time.

"Tell me slowly. Tell me what you were doing before it happened." Alcheron instructed, his voice calm. Manis looked at him, as if pleading with him, before finally speaking.

"I... I was simply practicing. Try-trying to better my... my summoning skills. So... so I could guard the Guildhall better... but I... I failed... I nearly-" Hestion cut him off with a finger to his lips again, silencing the Breton before he could continue.

"This was not your fault. I am sure of that, Manis. You have not failed your duties as Guild Guard." This firm proclamation seemed to ease the Breton, if only some.

"But-"

"A table can be replaced, Manis. What were you summoning?" Hestion asked, cutting him off like he had Edwinna earlier.

"A dremora... I'd done it before, once... or twice. But... this one... it had fought back and... I saw it." Manis shuddered, looking to be on the brink of another of his shaking seizures. "Fire and brimstone. Death and torture. Lightning and smoke. Decay. Horror. I saw Oblivion like... like a window..." Hestion stared at Manis thoughtfully as the man shuddered from the recent memory. He was scarred from it mentally, and physically considering his stomach sported a strong wrapping and his arms were bleeding through the bandages. With so much magic used up just to survive, the mages had little left to heal even themselves. Alcheron seemed to draw a conclusion and rose from his kneel.

"Arch-Mage?" Edwinna asked as the Dunmer walked out of the wreckage of the dinning area to approach her. "What do you think?"

"I think he was manipulated." Hestion replied simply, with little hint of doubt. "In the attack on the city, a Dremora Lord must have felt the pull of his conjurative magic and grasped on the weaker conscience, using him as a bridge through the Barrier and summoning himself onto Mundus. He could have pulled the others in through his own magicks, after overcoming the weak control Manis would have likely exerted." The very thought of this unnerved the battlemage, and by the look on Edwinna's face it would appear he was not alone in his sentiments. But as of yet he could come up with no other explanation.

"When the mages gather again, inform them of this; they are not to summon any Daedra with which they do not have excelled experience in handling. To put it shortly; if you doubt it, don't summon it."

Ald'Ruhn

Arsayn felt a surge of energy within himself. His eyes shot open without any warning, and although everything seemed blurry, he could make out the figure of a man in flowing blue clothes. Before the Redoran could realize what was going on, he realized his wounds were closing up; this must've been a mage of the Ald'Ruhn Guild. He had seen them on several occasions, and although he didn't hold any sort of personal grudge against mages in general, they were a sign that Imperialization has reached the House Redoran as well, and it was something he disliked, despite the fact he respected Imperials as good soldiers that could sometimes be useful. Although they certainly weren't in this battle... Arsayn blinked, watching as the mage rose and carried on to heal the other wounded.

Lying in the ash for a few more moments, the young Redoran noble started realizing that he didn't look very well. I need to find a clothier... And a bath. He yawned, lifting himself off the ground. And a weaponsmith... He frowned as his glance slid from his empty quiver to blood soaked shashka that was about as sharp as a stick by now. Yawning again, Arsayn grasped the weapon by its handle, lifted himself up, dusting off some of the ash on his armor, and started making his way towards the Under-Skar, whre he could find all the things he needed, including a bed - despite the fatigue restoration spell the mage apparently used on him, the warrior didn't feel all that well. In fact, the spell left a strange taste in his mouth, and a certain buzz in his head; he was sure that a good several hours of rest would take away both. After all, magic had its uses, like Imperials, but Arsayn preffered the more standard methods.

Faction and Rank: Morag Tong, Thinker

Name: Felton de Iberville

Race: Breton (Anticlerian)

Gender: Male

Age: 38

Birthsign: The Steed

Physical description: Five feet seven inches tall, Felton could hardly be identified as a Breton from the first glance. His skin is tan, almost comparable to that of a Ra Gada; however, if his skin color is similar, then his face certainly isn't, as it still bears the somewhat stereotypical features of a Breton ? a small, snub nose, thin lips and most notably piercing light blue eyes, which don't seem to fit in with his skin color.

Felton is slim, and seemingly weak, however his arms possess wiry strength that could be considered a hidden asset against inexperienced opponents that wouldn't expect a man of his build to be about as strong as your average Ra Gada, and about as fast too.

Short History: Born in Anticlere, High Rock. Felton's mother died giving birth while his father was killed accidentally during some minor riot. The boy then was taken in, out of pity, by the Legionnaire who let loose the bolt accidentally. As the man was assigned to another post, Felton travelled with him, and eventually he and his adoptive father ended up in Morrowind. There, however, when Felton was around sixteen, the Legionnaire was killed in a skirmish with some bandits, leaving the Breton out on his own. Eventually, Felton came to the attention of the Morag Tong, and ended up becoming a part of it after some of the higher-ups decided something good may come out of him.

About the character: Felton is an odd individual. He's not been excessively taught with the sword; however the weapon feels natural to him and that, along with his past field experiences, somewhat makes up for his lack of training, marking him as at least an average swordsman. A part of his success as a fighter would come from the fact he's extremely cautious ? rarely will he take on more than one opponent, and even in a duel he'll stick to defending for as long as possible, usually choosing not to strike until he's sure his blow will land, and land decisively. This can hamper him sometimes, as he can be indecisive during fights.

This attitude carries on to other aspects of his life, too ? Felton usually tries not to stand out too much personality-wise (as his outfit is hard not to notice), rarely speaking out his mind, even when he'd benefit from doing so. He avoids arguments with utmost caution, something that, along with his gentle behavior and sometimes seemingly na?ve outlook on some matters, led to others sometimes dubbing him a fool and a coward; however, no mistake should be made, as he doesn't usually hesitate sacrificing his beliefs if he feels the need to - alcoholism can be a problem on such occasions, though, as even though he usually restrains himself on that matter, if he feels wronged by someone else or by himself, he'll drink it away instead of speaking out.

Weapons: An expensive http://chevalie.narod.ru/new_pics/yatagan_lev.jpg

Armor/Clothing: Felton wears a mixture of various styles of clothes fm all over Tamriel which, despite being from different cultures, seem to flow together rather neatly, at least enough for him to seem rather elegant, although that may be more the fault of the way Felton carries himself. He wears nearly knee-high tough dark brown leather boots with several metal plates sewn onto them for some protection. At the top the boots are a bit covered up by his puffed light grey pants that reach only slightly below his knees; in design, they are similar to those Ra Gada wear in Hammerfell. The pants are held in place by a very wide black leather belt with a suitably large silver clasp. His white shirt is stuffed beneath the belt; however that is obscured from view most of the time by the dark blue woolen coat Felton wears, which is very similar to Imperial Navy coats. The coat seems to have belonged to a person of much better social standing before, judging by the silver buttons and trimming; it goes down to nearly mid-thighs and generally seems a slight bit too large for Felton. Beneath it is a black yoke, seemingly coming from the same wardrobe as it bears very similar designs. This outfit is finished up with a large black hat, decorated with brown cliff racer plumes.

Misc. Items: A small silver coin with which Felton often plays when bored.

I couldn't get him out of my head ever since making him up, so Felton had to go somewhere.

Vivec

Lying in his bed with a blank face expression, Felton looked like a child that had just been deprived of an activity that entertained him for hours before. In fact, though, that was not true - he had no such activity from which he had been separated, indeed the Breton spent the entire day lying in his bed, rising from it only to dress up. With a sigh, he stuffed his hand into the deep pocket of his coat, pulling out a coin; ignoring the looks from the other Tongs, Felton tossed the coin up, loudly proclaiming 'Dragon' to no one in particular, before catching the coin again and slamming it down on the back of his other hand without looking. Finally casting a lazy glance at the coin, he smiled - indeed, it was the dragon facing up. Cntent with this outcome of his short game, Felton proceeded to toss the coin up again, this time with no specific goal in mind; too lazy to extend his arm and catch it, the odd Thinker could only groan as the small silver septim hit his nose.

Snatching it and stuffing the coin backing into his pocket, Felton sighed. I wish those blasted gates weren't there to screw with the transportation. They won't rent me a guar for nothing, and I'm sure as hell not taking a strider to Balmora. I'll rather go mad in this boring hole than have to endure public transport and blabbering, frightened commoners raving on about how the gates are preventing them from making money in one of their trivial ways... I guess I won't be seeing my house for a couple of days. Or weeks. Or months. Or however long it'll take to sort this [censored] out... Damn, I wish the Mages' Guild teleportation pads didn't leave that feeling of illness on me, then I could just take a jump home and spend the rest of the day sleeping in my own bed, and not... this... He sniffed loudly, glaring angrily at the bed he was lying on, as if it was its fault that he had business in Vivec right when the crap with all the Daedra began.

I wonder how bad would it seem if I just spent the entire day sleeping. Certainly not very professional or proper, but there's only so much a man can do to behave properly amongst other people. Although I probably won't fall asleep in all this noise anyway. I wonder what bars do they have here in Vivec... Maybe they even serve wine here, although I doubt it... Speaking of wine, I wonder if some soldiers already broke into my house and comandeered my basemant 'for army purposes'.

OOC: Stop waiting for each other to post and do it yourselves! The OP was pretty clear that the focus of the RP was house interaction and not closing down gates. Everyone stopped posting since then. What is the issue?

Sadrith Mora

Telvanni Council

Aryon stared around the large room seeing almost unfamiliar faces. It had been quite a long time since the councilers met one on one let alone together. Not everyone was present but many more than could be expected were. It would seem everyone was waiting for him to speak. It wasn't a big secret that even though Aryon was Arch-Magister that he was looked down upon for his inexperience compared to the other council members but none had denied his ability as a sorcerer or the patron of Vos which had prospered under his leadership. For the most part Aryon had left the other members alone and they seemed content with that for now.

"We've been called here for a council and it is surprising to see those who came. I would have you all know that in Ebonheart there is a council as wel but i've turned it down because House Telvanni can not move forward amongst the other houses when we ourselves have no goal. And for some of you that is fine, but will it be fine when we have foreigners intrude further on our lands?"

Aryon was hoping to entice some response and get a feel for where the council stood. Depending on their answer his next course of actions would be taken, but he would need a level of their trust, or a complete distrust for his methods to work.

OOC: Tag to my fellow Redoran councilmen.

Ald'ruhn: Outskirts

Garisa Llethri watched silently as his men and women carried their injured brethren off the field of battle. The casualties had not been as heavy as he had originally feared. The resolve of Redoran was nothing to scoff at and indeed it was something to be admired. His chest swelled with pride, if only just for a moment. The other houses often thought of Redoran as simple-minded warriors, but Redoran knew better. Resolve is a function of the mind and Redoran's success proved that one's mind must always be as sharp as one's blade.

We must organize the defences of Ald'ruhn as well as coordinate the patrols of our holdings. The Redoran council must meet before the Daedra return. Master Arenim is still in Ebonheart at the Duke's request, but we must do something until then.

"Kinsman Revas, send retainers to request a meeting of the Councilmen at the Redoran Council Hall if they can. We need to prepare the defences of Ald'ruhn and our holdings and I think it is best if we are all aware of what steps we are each taking.""

"As you wish, Councilman Llethri." Beniamus Revas responded with a slight bow of his head. He quickly found two retainers and dispatched them with Llethri's request.

Ahanibi-Maimus Egg Mine - Northern Ashlands

Breves held his sword at the ready as he and his retainers converged on the mine entrance. A trio of corpses - two Dunmer and another burnt beyond recognition - lay in their wake. Nodding to his fellow soldiers, he approached the door, noting that it bore the singe marks of fire and had taken quite the beating. It was broken in places but still held firm. Raising his steel fist, he proceeded to beat upon the door, "I am Lawman Breves Drevan of House Redoran. If there are any survivors, come forth!""

One thing Breves could respect about Dremora was that they were warriors through and through. They would not hide behind barricaded doors, and that gave him hope that some of his kinsmen had survived.

His ears perked up as he heard the muffled shuffling of feet and the scraping of stone and iron from beyond the doorway. A muffled voice called out from the other side, "ALMSIVI be praised, we are coming out."

"Eyes alert and form a perimeter. I do not want any surprises once we get these miners out."

Council Chambers, Sadrith Mora.

Such a waste of time. MY precious time. To think, I could be studying that rare amulet right now, oh yes...what secrets do you hold my precious? What a fool Aryon is. Does he really beleive that HE has power? Hah. I laugh at his little charade. And who does he think he is...sending Katsaniah to Ebonheart. Of all places he sends her, someone with potential, to an Imperial town!? Something must be done about this...

Master Neloth scoffed as he turned his attention away from the Arch-Magister. Indeed, Neloth did not care for Aryon, it was not that he himsel wished to be Arch-Magister, but he was not thrilled that of all people, Aryon had taken over. Surely he would lead the Telvanni to their downfall if he kept on. All their hard work...their reputation...gone! It was a disgrace. And to waste time with him, and the other magisters, only soured Neloth's mood.

Choosing to remain quiet, Neloth simply folded his arms behind his back, as he glanced at the other magisters present. Upon hearing what Aryon had to say, he couldn't help but feel the frustation inside him, though he posed himself as calm, and in a rather "matter-of-fact" way, he spoke,

"Intruders? On our lands? And who in their right minds would be so "wise" as to come here? Knowing that we do not offer hospitality, to anyone. The only wise thing you've said so far is that we didn't go to Ebonheart. What good will they say? I see little point in sending a Spellwright there...you think they would even care for our wishes?"

Neloth lifted his head as he set his eyes on Aryon, taking a breath, he resumed,

"Further more, why do we not discuss what we really want? We can sieze this oppurtunity to learn. Surely even you've thought about all we can gather from these new circumstances?"

Ald-Ruhn.

Things seemed clearer when Theloria Baren opened her eyes. The long lashes brushed against her cheek as they fluttered a few times before fully opening. Sliding her hand down the side of her hip, she touched the area which the deadra had struck her with an arrow. But by now, the wound had fully closed, and the skin had turned back into its usual ivory tone.

Brushing away the straws of hair falling across her eyes, a chuckle escaped the young priestess's mouth as she felt something soft touch her shoulder. Turning around by only a little, Theloria came face to face with Thaden, who was resting right beside her. Wrapping his arms protectivly around her waist, he offered a smile as he too, woke from a rather long sleep.

"Good morning, gorgeous. Feeling any better?"

Returning the smile, Theloria nodded as she fully turned around and crept in closer to her husband. "Much better. I wish I could say the same of my dreams though. They are only becoming worse, Thaden. I hate to admit, but...I feel afraid at times, not for myself but think of the commoners. They do not wield weapons or hold knowledge of magic, instead they must rely on faith and on us to protect them and their homes. So many come crying to the temple, seeking comfort, comfort I do not think we can give them."

Thaden knew what Theloria was saying, was indeed too true. When he joined his kin to battle, he would often go pass many of the citizens of Ald-Ruhn, only to meet eyes filled with a mix of admiration and fear. They admired the Redoran who fought for them, but they feared what would happen if they could not do it. If they failed. The Temple called this lack of faith in the gods, but in times like this, holding onto your faith was not as simple for everyone.

"What would help make your dreams more peaceful?"

Theloria didn't even seem to ponder of this, as she quickly responded, "I want to come with you. Rumare and the other healers can manage with the injured who arrive at the Temple, but I want to offer my aid to the Redoran, and help. The Temple and Redoran have always been on good terms, and if granted, I would gladly follow into battle, or anything."

With a grin, Thaden replied, "Knowing you....you'll probaly go a head and do it anyways, despite my attempts to say no. How about us asking for audeince with Ferther Mano later? My guess he is still celebrating our last victory, and you know...I should be doing the same, now...come here you."

Yawning, Felton stretched his arms. A nap would've certainly been nice... Guess I can catch some sleep when I'm drunk. He smirked, before wiping it off his face and slowly sitting up. Right, Felton. Time to stop lazying about and get something done, even if only finding a suitable inn to waste away the rest of my day... And get some food. I'm sure as hell not eating the crap they probably have here. Mass storages aren't good, but if I have to choose I'll go with the people who get paid for serving food instead of those who only do it for convenience, so that lazier amongst us don't have to go searching for their own sources. With another yawn, Felton stood up, grabbing his hat off the shelf nearby and firmly putting it on his head.

Hastily making his way through the room to avoid any unnecessary conversations, Felton nearly bumped into an elven woman at the doorway. She seemed younger than him, however, knowing Mer, she should've been, in fact, older, although physically the two of them seemed to have some things in common. He wasn't sure what race the woman was, as she seemed similar to both a Bosmer and an Altmer, but then he himself wasn't the purest speciment of the Bretic race, as he figured thinking about his dark skin tones.

"Appologies." He mumbled, trying to slip past, when realization dawned onto him - this must've been one of the three new people around these parts he'd heard of, the others being himself and some Dunmer, who supposedly came with the female from the Mainland a few days ago. Didn't she also participate in some practice fight recently? Felton frowned slightly, trying to recall and still waiting for an opening to slip through.

OOC: Chew on this you non-Hlaalu bastards.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Massama_Cave

"What is the meaning of this? This mine is in the ownership of Beladas Demnievani! You have no authority here!" An arrogant voice spat, a few flecks of saliva falling just short of Sadie's elegantly carved features.

"I am here on behalf of house Redoran, It has come to our attention that this mine was seized, by force, from us as we battled with the Daedra advancing on Ald'Ruhn. You are running this mine no more thief, we have come to reclaim ownership will result in execution." Sadie spoke coldly, her melodic tone adding a darker nature to the stony statement.

"I will not stand for this. You are mistaken, leave this place or I will be forced to contave master Demnievani for reinforcements!" He spat, still showing no sign of manners in the company of a woman.

"Very well, Kill them all." Sadie said to the mercenary captain behind him before moving to the left, out of the path of his sword which was now inhabiting the Telvanni guards chest cavity. The other guards around him reacted instantly, tossing spells at the group of mercenaries, injuring a few but nothing more. Before being cut down. The mercenaries wasted no time in storming the mine, a few remaining outside to dispose of the bodies.

Sadie carried on walking away from the mine to the road where the workers where gathered, with a house cousin. Whistling a cheerful song to herself, tapping her fingers on the violin at her side to provide a melodic beat.

"The mine is now in possesion of house Hlaalu, here are the documents. The mercenaries will consent to stay on and guard the property until such a time that Hlaalu guards can be provided, they will not ask questions so do not worry, the transaction has proved smooth. You will remain here for a short while, maintain security and order, make sure our workers are settled in nicely and provide the documents of ownership to anybody who comes searching for answers." She spoke softly, pushing the envelopes containing the documents needed to the house cousin before her, he looked pleased to be here. That may have been because he was some what taken with Sadie however. "Any questions?"

"None at all Ma'am, its been a pleasure."

"Yes, it has."

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Buckmoth_Legion_Fort

The light blue sky was something to behold indeed, it hadn't been long since he'd seen it but it filled him with giddy glee none the less. It was like losing a friend and finding a lover having it back. The sun played its part, lightening Curio's spirit's the same way Sadie's harp did as she plucked its strings while telling him her proposition about Sudanit Mine.

"Yes you see, The Redoran stole the mine from Hlaalu, We didn't think it prudent to bother you in such dire times so we commissioned a mercenary group to clear the mine out from those impostors." He said slowly, cherishing each artistically crafted word Sadie had placed in his mind to recite to the legion officer whom consented to see him at Buckmoth. "It's all so unexpected, we had to act quickly. Such dirt dirty business indeed."

The officer stared at him in disbelief, either because the deceit was poorly executed or Curio's flowery nature just left him some what bewildered.

"Every thing seems to be in order here, I'll have these papers passed onto my commanding officer." He said, folding the documents up and sliding them under his briast plate.

"Delightful. Now, the Redoran are bound to protest, pride filled fools that they are, Admirable but foolish. If they try to reclaim the mine they will have to pass through the fort, I'm confident you will follow the law and send them packing back home yes?"

"Indeed." he replied, evidently growing tiered of his company.

"Oh wonderful, now. I must take my leave. Good bye my good sir, Good bye."

Struggled with the idea for a few days now but i'm done with this. People have been irresponsible and it's sad to see the same reasons keeping good RPs from working. People just wait to be spoon fed into writing. This is why most RPs fail. Everyone rushes like little children for important roles and then they do jack [censored]. They throw half assed ideas into the RP and then quit without following them through. Meanwhile people without a creative bone in their body sit around picking their nose wondering what to do. None of you guys discuss with one another and just sit and sit and sit. If you're uncreative PM the other person and tell them you want to get things going. Don't just wait.

What bugs me is that this is a good RP, a very good RP, one of the better ones in this forum i've ever seen. I'm not saying this, the ten and twenty people PMing me at the start have said this. I don't even take RPing seriously but this is a pain in the ass. Are people here really this uncreative that they need to be spoon fed? Honestly just go write two sentence posts in some zombie RP if you're going to be like that. Maybe I shouldn't have added so many colors in the OP, maybe that distracted some people I don't know.

I don't mind RPing with people that can't write for crap. I've had them in Siege of Sentinel too and along the course of that RP they ended up being some damn good writers. But if you svck at writing why do you take big whig roles? I know I told people who joined up to RP an NPC, but hell just have the guy sit in his tower/castle/house if you don't intend on RPing the NPC well. And then what the hell was the whole gate thing? Everyone goes rushing to fight oblivion gates? Aren't you guys the same crowd that [censored]es about Oblivion svcking and how morrowind was better and how closing the gates felt like a chore....so you RP about it? Some people were just reacting to what was started, i'm pissed at the people who started it really. The focus of the RP was in the OP.

Pretty freaking simple, Oblivion crisis on Vvardenfell with a focus on inter House relations. So basically all you had to do was imagine playing Morrowind with a more impeding doom feeling. It's not a hard concept. I don't know what it is, maybe I needed to make it more simple cause people can't do politics, adventure, etc at the same time? This is because people play in a self absorbed manner. They want to always be the center character and thats how many people play it. They don't think of how the story goes, it's always about doing the cool thing, being the hero, being the unique guy and if the story gets in the way, well just [censored] it then.

It's really disapointing to see that after several years of being here people havn't changed and most are still mediocre at best and im stretching this by alot. The few good writers who i've had the pleasure to RP with i'm sorry for closing down the RP. I just don't think it's fair to place myself and you guys in a position where we have to deal with this [censored]. I'd love to have a much smaller scale RP with just you guys and really write something nice. I'll be waiting for Story Teller to write up the last SoS thread so we can wrap it up and i'll eventually start writing down the High Rock plot. I'm going to be alot more picky on who gets the big roles because obviously i've been too generous with people that can't do [censored]. Bunch of teens watching too much anime and playing too much assassin's creed thinking they're brilliant writers acting all cocky being [censored]s to one another when they're all cut from the same cloth. Just like those idiots on those talent shows on TV who think they can sing and dance or whatever. Seriously wtf is the point of taking a super important central role if you're not going to post?

Even so I hope that even with those people eventually they can see how their method of writing can [censored] up a perfectly good RP and they can grow better from it. That's me being idealistic, realistically people are just gunna pout and scoff reading this thinking "well he probably doesn't mean me...I AM a good writer and all." Trust me if you're confused PM me and ask me. I actually hope that if you think i'm being unfair you do talk with me and I hope those who my "scorn" is not relative to do not assume that it does.

Apology again for people who actually stuck to the idea for closing the RP. Just wait a bit for High Rock. The way it will be set up it won't have these sort of issues. I guess I need a more authoratative style of running RPs. Instead of saying "well maybe it'll work" and approve crappy character sheets I just need to tell them "no this svcks, it's [censored], and it won't work" because honestly it's giving them a heads up to what is wrong, it saves the RP from some idiotic idea and it doesn't waste the time of people who actually can write or at least want to learn how to. Again my issue isn't so much with writing ability, but people biting off more than they can chew due to over estimating their own abilities and people not following clear simple directions.

Moderators go ahead lock the thread and send the warning or suspension since I probably broke some rules. People needed to hear it regardless.

I'm sorry to see this go, although I admit, I wasn't in it yet and thus didn't have to deal with any problems that might have occured. I hope you don't get in too deep, Immortal, 'cause I was hoping to get a chance to RP again with you soon.

I know RPing- and particularly when you create a good idea for an RP- can get really svckish, and I really hope this doesn't ruin your attitude towards making RPs. Letting us mediocre folks in is all I can really hope for (I'm nowhere near on the scale of you political rpers...)

I'm also sure nobody meant to ruin this. Sometimes people just get sidetracked, or are too new to the whole political thing, excited though they may be by the big roles.

Anwyay, I hope your next RP is more successful, and leaves you in a better mood.

The thing that bugs me really is that it was ruined and I was looking forward to RP with some people along your scale of ability. Don't sell yourself short. You'll be my Queen Elysana in High Rock I hope! :)

Oh moderators dont lock this unless it gets out of hand I suppose. People can add their thoughts.

Maybe a re-make in the future with alot of scruttiny over sheets and what not. To much potential to just abandon all together. I had alot of plans for this, im not wasting those plans. They can be used here or in highrock either way. Btw, if new blood is needed to speed SoS up a little i woudnt be against joining to speed it up?

Basically for SoS we just need to complete the minimum of the final battle. Story and I would even do it alone amongst ourselves if the other people don't come back. But I know a few other members are floating around. If you want to get involved sure why not.

This Morrowind house scenario is going to play out in a very interesting manner sometime after High Rock including all the houses, but yes more scrutiny is needed.

Bull, Beniamus Revas, Anticlere and Solidor planned to destroy this rp from the beginning.

My brief words to add to this, the problem was that people got caught up in the initial excitement, beyond that there was no true commitment or desire. Its a common mistake in roleplays that leads to their death, but if its stated in the rules to make sure you can post, or you give your word you can, do it.

I'd also like to apologize on anyone who waited my part, I was actually going to have my Redoran up and end this meeting so I can cater more to my Redoran children (I love you all.)

Still, I have to admit, even though everything was brief, Serenity and Pat I'd like to see you guys involved more in the timeline, it was great having dedicated and skilled writers like you on board.

To the usual suspects, (Anticlere, Revas, and Marn) nothing has to be said that you dont already know.

Guess time to place this rp in the cabinet.

EDIT: To clarify for anyone not Timeline, and to make sure nobody jumps on my [censored], the people mentioned above in the first line of this post are all friends, and it was said sarcastically.

I dont use smileys.

Hmmmm, sorry mate. My excuse is Crazyjoker never came back to talk to my character. Isn't much of an excuse though since I could've have done a number of things to get by it and contribute to the RP. I could've created a new character for example.

Ok. I have no idea how much of this was pointed at me, but I for one was enjoying this RP. I don't mean to be taking the piss, but I thought the RP was going fine. Maybe its because I've had commitments over the last week, because school just started for me again. I dunno... I'm sad to see this die. It IS a great RP, regardless of how many contribute. I apologize for anything I may have done, because I'm still not sure to what extent this was called for...

You didnt get to see the back stage situation or better yet a "birds eye view of the situation" as Telvanni was pretty much me and one other person, Hlaalu was pretty much just Solidor and Redoran was with 1 or 2 other people and nothing was going on.

I'll remake this some other time i'm sure. The OP is nice enough.

yeah. I gave out alot of plans i came up with for my own characters to other people in Hlaalu to give them a running start in the RP, and the majority posted once, twice max, and didnt even bother with the plans i gave them.. Even though they where quite good for use in house Hlaalu. I got sick of waiting then posted them with my characters instead, shame it had to close.

Ahh, I'm sorry. I'm an offending party, I know, but I've only had a few minutes at a time this past week. Sorry I let you down pal. And sorry to everyone else that enjoyed this one, too.
