City you spent the most time in?

Chorrol for me. Bravil can burn and crumble away in the river.

I feel the same.
Though if you have the CS, you can just make yourself a home there.

I've become a big fan of Leyawiin too, but would also like something nicer to live in. I only just downloaded the CS and have no idea how to use it, so that's gonna have to wait a while. I wish Leyawiin was just a little closer to anything, but other than that it's a sweet little spot.

Yeah, I've been meaning to take a peak at that, but it's just sooo much reading and I'd rather play =)

Lol, you'd rather spend time in the world rather than creating it.

I visited Bravil the least because it was so ugly even do I loved the landscape outside the city. Then I installed BC, and Bravil is still ugly but much more interesting.

I hate Bravil. A lot.

But I really enjoy Chorrol. It feels homey and is just one of the better made towns.

Bruma reminds me of home; far north covered in snow. Leyawiin however, only visiting it when doing guild quests.

What is going on with all the Bravil comments?

The Nibenay is area I tend to visit the most. All of my characters tend to hang out in Bravil, Leyawiin and Cheydinhal.

Bravil is the most beautiful sea side resort in the whole of Tamriel. Sunshine on the beach, children playing in the water, rolling hills and meadows, it is an alchemist's delight, tailoring itself to the every need of the discerning assassin. Step inside and you will see a shady little town full to the brim with tranquil charm. Marvel at the best 'balcony view' in the lands and try your hand at fishing off the wooden bridge.

Who else can boast this?

Oh, and it also has my two fav characters in Oblivion- City Swimmer & Buffy the Bowgirl. :twirl:

I like the house in Bruma best (ideal location next to the gate, no loading screens in the house, and not as shabby as some other 1-zone shacks). So, I guess I spent most time in Bruma.

Second is probably the Imperial City, because there are so many houses to break into, so many shops to sell to, and the Mages Guild of course. Also, I usually get the Imperial City shack before moving into Bruma, since it's so much cheaper and since you can steal some of its furniture upgrades.

Of the other cities, I think I spent most time in Bravil, because there's the Magicka-refilling statue, and because the Mages Guild over there specializes in Illusion magic.

Then, there's Cheydinhal. I had a phase in which all my new characters (I suffer from a bad case of restartitis) first went to Cheydinhal's abandoned house after the tutorial. Also, I find Cheydinhal interesting, with the Ork gang's activities and obscure parties.

The last 4 cities are for me more or less cases of "just passing through", but of course there are some differences of how frequently I am passing through.

Skingrad is a place I visit a bit more often than the others, mostly because of the flax in the surrounding fields. Also, I like the count (who doesn't?).

Anvil is the anchor place for raiding the ruins and caves on the western side of the map. Given that OOO added quite a few ruins there, I'm quite often in Anvil. I do not like it there very much though. Too many drunken sailors.

With Leyawin, I've actually never really bothered yet to look into all of the houses, and I can manage to get a bit lost in its streets. I can navigate blindly to the Mages Guild, but that's it.

And that leaves Chorrol. Yes, if a character is a member of the Fighers Guild, she will come here quite often. But it's definitely the town I feel the least at home in.

So, here's the list:
1. Bruma
2. Imperial City
3. Bravil
4. Cheydinhal
5. Skingrad
6. Anvil
7. Leyawin
8. Chorrol.

I think I spend most of my time in Imperial City, Bruma and Chorrol.
I don't have a city I don't like to visit since they all have interresting side-quests.

Most visited: Skingrad, because Rosethorn appeals to my packratty nature. There's a container for everything in that house! I also love travelling the roads around there collecting alchemy ingredients. It's also logistically clean and neat. Entrance to house, pretty short jog from East Gate. Shops and guilds, right down the street.

Least visited: Leyawiin, again. I hate the sweaty, gloomy swamp atmosphere of the area, and I don't like the sprawling layout of the town.

Most visited would be Cheydinhal for its proximity to the Nibenay Basin. Just love walking through there.

Least visited would be Leyawiin. Just so damn depressing and drab.

Skingrad. Why?

-It is a fairly central location, with Anvil and Kvatch to the West, Chorrol and Bruma to the North, Bravil and Leyawiin to the South and IC and Cheydinhal to the East.
-It has the highest building count, 21 (although granted a few cities have this) and all of the buildings are large, so it feels like a big city, despite only having 3 streets.
-It has Rosethorn hall, the biggest house in the game and has a maid and a quest.
-Has a cool castle location.
-The vinyards next to it are the most prominent example of an actual ecosystem surrounding cities.

IC the most, as the Arch-Mage I have to make sure everything is running smoothly at the Arcane University.Plus i love multiplying ingredients as an alchemist. Least i put Leyawiin. Other than visiting the mages guild there for Mysticism spells, no reason to go there.

I visit Skingrad the most because that's where my house is. I try to avoid going to Bravil as much as possible, though, because it's a dirty, depressing town.

Chorrel I visit the most. It has by far the best assortment of dungeons nearby and a lot of quests.

Leyawiin I visit the least, because of how remote it is. Pity because it is a cool place.

Most time in: Bruma, but Imperial City is a close second due to my many hours there in the beginning when I was waiting for my new graphics card and thus be allowed to go outside and enjoy everything :twirl:

Least time in: Cheydinhal. I cannot say why, but for some reason I can′t enjoy that town even though it′s very nicely located

Anvil had the worst quests, the least to do, the fewest offerings of interest, and was flat out idiotic. It really could have been left out entirely and I'd have not noticed the loss.

I went to the Imperial City the most. It has everything you need in that city!

I never visit Leyawiin. I don't fast travel in Oblivion, and so I only travel when I need to. I never go to Leyawiin because it's so out of the way.

1. Imperial City
2. Leyawiin
3. Chorrol
4. Bravil
5. Bruma
6. Anvil
7. Skingrad
8. Cheydinhal

The Imperial City has the most shops, plus its central and the Arcane University is there. Cheydinhal is pretty boring in my opinion.

My most favourite has to be Bravil as my thief loves that place. The surroundings seem to suit him ;)
