I'm pretty sure my Ma will get her hands on anything that shows the opening ceremony. She's been going on about this thing for ages. ^_^

She has? I can imagine of what a relief for you when she stops ranting about this. If she does that is. :P

Well, if it makes my train reach Copenhagen faster whenever I go there, I'm all for it!

Given that she usually travels to and through her beloved motherland via train (after taking a ferry to Denmark), I guess it's kind of warranted. Kind of weird that way, my Ma being the train nerd... ^_^

And we all know, the less people travelling on the ?resund, the less strange happenings. :shifty:

You can travel from Triangeln in Malm? city to Copenhagen in only 30 minutes, but before the http://www.algonet.se/~hogman/Oresundsbron.htm (?resund Bridge) was constructed a trip to Copenhagen will take approx on hour maybe little more by fast boat (we use to call them the flying boats). They and the sea ferries doesn't exist anymore in regular traffic. :)

Well, if it makes my train reach Copenhagen faster whenever I go there, I'm all for it!

Welcome to Sweden then. :D

I assume that your mother is from either Denmark or Sweden then. :)

Sweden. Half Swedish-French. Combines the best aspects of both countries a mother could have. ^_^

Well, according to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1105300-community-poll/?quot;, people from the Nordic countries constitute the third highest population on these forums, me included.

That said, I've heard the name of the tunnel, but I've never bothered looking into it.

I would never guess that your mother is half Swedish-French, but if you have relatives (cousins) in Sweden then a trip here to visit them is much easier now.

In fact you can actually travel by train from Copenhagen to Oslo through Malm? and Gothenburg with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%96resundst%C3%A5g. :)
It's probably only one train change to an another in that trip.
