I have been thinking of a character to enter in the second part of the RP, but I am not sure where he'd fit. So if anyone could enlighten me on this, I would appreciate it.

Name: Samuel
Race: Male Imperial, Colovian
Appearance: Tall, dark brown hair, pale skin
Trade: Very wealthy trader from Cyrodiil, have less public ties to the East Empire Company among others.
Product: Information
Skills: Trained in light armor usage and with a sword and shield, but his primary ability is his business sense.
Always travels with a few mercenaries: A Nord warrior(nordic steel equipment, heavy armor and a warhammer), an Orc warrior(orcish battleaxe and armor) and a Breton mage(robed)
Personality: Tries to stay as neutral as possible in business, with few loyalties. Arrogant. Vague description, but I prefer show to tell.
Belongings: An ebony sword, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-class-Scout.jpg armor without the helmet. A ring that slowly heals him(not something that will have any particular effect in combat, but if you leave him to die he might just get back up later).

it might be a little difficult to fit him into this, since it would require that I know some information that is not commonly known already and offer it for sales. However, if executed well, I think it could add another layer to the story.

Edit: Some very few individuals might recognize a lot about this character and, yes, it is intentional :P

I'm working on it now. We're finishing up.

I think we could work him in, as the Stormcloaks will need goods. And lol, I did indeed notice...Samuel. :D I know you as a story writer have the talent to make it work, and it will be awesome having you back in. Accepted. You can also do more than one character if you wish.

Yes, I had a feeling you would think I could make it worth ;)

And I do have more than one character. After all, Samuel is surrounded by a small crew of individuals, all of which I intend to have at least a semblance of personality. But I might come up with a completely different character at some point, which is what you were really talking about :P

The biggest problem about making it work will be the information, since that is his primary product. Anyone who ends up dealing with Samuel in the RP should discuss it with me in PMs so we can work it out. Any major player in the land is likely to have something that gives him leverage. But all of that in due time.

In any case, it's good to have you on board for part 2. Question though, is he on his own, neutral side? Or is he on the Stormcloaks? Also, what do you mean by leverage? Do you mean he would have a piece of information to hold against anyone he comes across?

I think he means blackmail.

I just want to know what he considers a major player then, I guess.

He is on his own side, but he is more likely to be a tad more in favor of those in power. Self-interest and all, but not so much that the information he sells the other factions will be faulty. Unless he is paid by another faction to give them faulty information.

And leverage does indeed mean that he tends to be very well-informed about any major players in the political landscape, which is why this character will be difficult to do. It will require a lot of OOC dialogue between me and everyone else.

Anyone who can make a difference and is semi-famous. The majority of the characters in this RP.

I wouldn't consider my "Standard" Soldier (Velan) to be a major player, but I will PM you some stuff Samuel may know about my Specialist (Eduard), if you'd like.

Poor Lorgar.

And now for something completely different... ROFL

I think the deal is that Witchie and Colonel have a post-battle RP, then we'll put up the Rebec/ Baldur/ Boldir epic madness in several posts. I can do that, since the others have been working hard. After that, the rest of the epilogues.
