No its not. There are SO MANY RL cases

This AINT real life. The High King's law is final. If he says they secede, they secede.

Actually, if my previous character's exploit of cutting of Ulfric's head don't qualify him to rule in your book, KillaBee, then neither can Ulfric...
Lol thats true.

But WHAT could prevent the Jarls to rebel against him if they want? Hm ? What is, he is a god that just say "Dont rebel against me, I command it!" ... sounds silly.

The fact they are bound to follow his orders, as he is their king.

So he achieved CHIM and manages the will of all their Jarls. I see.
Then I dont find how is it that Ulfric killed him.
Torygg should be able to tell him "Stop this my friend, Im your High King"

"Die , my king"

Yes I see, they follow his orders and will blindly....

No, Ulfric followed the law in challenging him to a duel. Follows the law. Like the jarls follow the law when they obey their high king.

That is the whole point, isnt it ?
Maybe... just MAYBE Ulfric did the right thing.
But causing a civil war while the Dominion armies are at the gates just waiting for the time to descend over you? That is plainly stupid.

And inviting them into your lands to spy isn't?

I'm done. My head hurts.
And so you mean to say that Torygg never intended to actually do anything, not even to risk getting a sternly worded letter from Mede let alone declare Skyrim's indpendence. Fine. That's what Sybille also says, and it's the same conclusion Ulfric came to, which is why Torygg had to be forced to either step down or be taken down.

And how are they going to invade? Through the enemy province of Hammerfell? Or how about through Cyrodiil, or maye through the waters where there is no safe port?

Ugh this was stated so many times...
The bloody concordat was signed because the empire had no choice.
Or did the empire just want to let them pass inn because they like it? Come on, dont be silly.

It depends how you look at it. A civil war to shed an empire weighing your country down might be a good idea if you believe waiting is a bad idea.

Last time I checked, Hammerfell got a treaty too, and they dont have to give up any gods. They had the same ultimatum and they chose to fight. You tell me who got the better deal?

Thy could have chosen to not take such obviously Thalmor inclined demands, especially since they were equally defeated, and had just wiped out the Thalmor army in the Imperial City.

It's called reading a book and studying the lore.

My mistake, I play the game and study RL history. But I played enough to see what is going on in there. Several hundreds of hours. And I see the state of things.
I walked all the land. Not wanting to choose sides.
But with the time I feel the danger. The danger that guy represent for all. I went to his palace and listened to him. I was horrorized. I listened to his general... then I runned out directly to Solitude. That guy had to be stopped. His head must lie on a pick.

Sadly, I was not sitted with the signer of neither treatys to know the exact situation of each.
Perhaps Hammerfell was in a better possition to negotiate and the Empire was in a bad shape... a Pirric "victory" never is good.

What's funny about that is the Great War book says theygot info from the thalmor they killed in the imperial city and they knew they wiped out the majority of their force. So they knew at the time that they were equally as damaged. So why the hell did they give into the demands knowing that?

I just don't see that at all. What did he say that turned you off so badly? Cause nothing he said registered like that.
