Clan Support Discussion

Post » Thu Mar 25, 2010 10:03 pm

hey all, i was wondering about the clan support for Brink, and i had a few questions.

1.) Will the clan system be like MW2 where you just enter in your clan tag and anyone can have it, or will it be like MAG were you have to be invited?

2.) Is there In-Game clan invites? (Can i clikc on a players name during a match and invite them to my clan? )

3.) Will there be an option for my clan to go into battle against itself?

thats it for now, feel free to discuss anything pertaining to the clan sysem in this thread.

Please use this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1103730-poll-what-would-you-like-to-see for that specific discussion.

We have discussed it and discussed it, but have received nothing from the developers on any information regarding clan support, it is the one thing that I believe the devs are falling short on. Simply use the thread I posted though to continue the discussion.

To clarify, the reason they are "falling short" on the info is that they only started working on clan support a month ago or so.

That thread hasn't been active for nearly three months, a new thread is fine. :)

What is the rule of thumb for a dead thread?

It does not matter. When I first arrived I was directed to it as well. Additionally, it holds any information he could gain from this thread. Therefore, it is better to keep the same idea collected under one thread than for the ideas to be spread out amongst several threads.

So that thread being old or not, holds much more merit than a new thread.

Either way, there isn't any info to be had other than the fact that "they are working on it, and its not finished yet, so they cant give details"

If you want to discuss possibilities, or what you would like to see, go ahead, but there are no facts yet.
