This video will show you the respawn system.

But basically, there are respawns every 20 seconds or so. When you are downed, medics are able to throw you a revive syringe that will allow you to resurrect yourself on the spot, or you can decide to use the next respawn, at any time, and at most will have to wait 20 seconds.

Consoles have matchmaking.

SD has said that they are working on clan support still, so there's no information about how it will look when its finished.

So consoles have Halo/CoD type matchmaking or is it Avatar type matchmaking?(If you haven't played it, it's a map of the world and different places on the world and you select a place and it finds a game and puts you in) That type would make the most sense for Brink.

Im pretty sure you pick a map, and it puts you in a room with other people. The rooms are organized by level. There are 4 blocks, level 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-20.

Dedicated servers are generally more common for pc games. I don't understand people's infatuation with clans, in fact I hope they don't have clan support.

Well it doesn't really affect me, I just think there is nothing more obnoxious then a bunch of kids running around with the same clan tags or names thinking they're awesome because they have a bunch of e-friends who take gaming as seriously as they do. You can be in a "clan" per se and just not flaunt it to make you look cooler. Hence why I think SD should focus on something else besides clan support.

The only thing about clans I don't like is that people act like they are good because they have some friends who are good. I dunno how many times I have beaten someone in one game or another, and they will instantly challenge me to a clan match and then say I'm scared, and their clan is so much better than me, just because I don't want to.

Yeah it's annoying, I usually avoid internet trash talk. There is nothing more frustrating than someone who thinks it is okay to say things to me from behind a computer screen that they would never say to me in real life.
