Clans!

So we know there's a civil war or some unrest at the time the game in Skyrim takes place. Do we get faction stories a la the Morrowind Great Houses in Skyrim through Nord clans? I know I would want this. Nothing better than good replay value. What do you think?

(Please stay out of poll if you haven't played Morrowind and thus have no informed opinion)

If this concept were included in the game, for myself, it would really add to the atmosphere. I would hope that belonging to a faction, or a clan would grant one access to certain logistical support, as well as opening avenues for development of personal relationships with NPCs, that might not otherwise be available.

I would support this concept.

Edit: minor typo

Absolutely! Before the civil war, there was also great tension for a long time between different holds.

Certainly, this would add more of the political dimension which, sadly, didn't make it into Oblivion.

It was said that Skyrim will have a similar faction system as Fallout: New Vegas, so expect many different factions and groups.

Hmm. I haven't played Fallout: New Vegas. (Not a big Obsidian fan, and Fallout isn't a good substitute for TES)

Maybe I'll look up the wiki.
