I make this post publicly in the forum instead of asking via a personal message for a very good reason.
The policy of Bethesda modding their games was always: You can make mods for our games as long as they are distributed for free, are not using any assets from other games (regardless if they are from another company or from Bethesda) and not inflicting the rights of others. (The Geck license agreement in a nutshell, sorry not complete and detailed).
So my question is to Bethesda (in this case the moderators here who please pass it on) has there anything changed on this policy with the change of distribution rights for Fallout 1,2 and Tactics for modmakers of these games?
There is a small but very active modding community for these games and the rumor starts that modding isn't allowed for them anymore (a modmaker is refering to a pm answer he had in another forum). A lot of tools have been developed by the community itself but also Interplay provided modding tools for Fallout 2 and Tactics. So this move would be a very strange one and it is hard for me to belive that this would happen.
As most people here on the forum know, I don't like rumors or myths about my favorite game series so I need some clarification here.
