It seems like everytime a slightly buggy game comes out there are threats to sue the company for all their worth, but they are really pointless and hollow threats....

I havent enountered that many bugs in New Vegas yet and certainly it is not the buggiest game ive played (and enjoyed) so....bout time to hit the dusty trail... :bolt:

There does seem to be a lot of these types of threads leaping up in lots of forums whenever -as you say- a game comes out with a few nasty bugs.

What those making these threats of lawsuits don't seem to realise, is that assuming the lawyers don't keep the case tied up for years to increase their own pay, they might just get back the original cost of the game and depending on the lawyers used, still have to pay them.

Pretty much this. Even if this could be possible to actually sue them you'll only get back the value of the game, most likely. The Lawyer will probably ask for much more.

I find your choice of user name humorously appropriate :)

This has to be one of the stupidest threads out there, they even fixed the save issues and are planning on releasing them, oh and if you are so mad that someone "took" your money, there is a magical new item called a receipt

For future reference, a forum ran by the company that you're talking about bringing a lawsuit against isn't exactly the best place to build support for said lawsuit. Thats why I'd be willing to bet that this will be closed when a mod wanders along.

I'm not sure if you meant to put this under Fallout 3 or not, but you don't have the grounds to sue Bethesda. Also, posting that you should sue Bethesda (the owner of the Forums) is a very bad idea.

You may but you won't be discussing it on this forum.
