thanks

Ah. This is where I come in.

Race: Khajiit
Birthsign: The Thief
Custom Class: Marksman
Favored Attributes: Agility, Intelligence
Major Skills:
-Illusion
-Alchemy
-Marksman
-Sneak
-Blade
-Acrobatics
-Security

Alright, since this is a stealth build, I added in everything a stealth character would need. This is an Assassin build, except Acrobatics swapped with Light Armor. And Intelligence swapped with speed. (My main build)
Basically, you're gonna need Alchemy to make poisons, and Marksman to shoot from a-far. Blade to get you through close encounters, Illusion to help you see in the dark, and a few other things, Acrobatics, to get into vantage points, and sneak and security are self-explanatory.

I chose the Khajiit race because they're statistically the best stealth race from my experience. And favored attributes are Agility and Intelligence rather than Speed is because Alchemy is governed by Intelligence. Although it is only one skill and Speed may have been more useful otherwise, since you have given significance to poisons, I thought it would be best this way.

Hope it helps!

thanks :D
just a few questions. Would any other sign like Shadow, Serpent, or Steed be better?
Light armor wouldn't be necessary because I would be stealthing pretty much the whole time right?
How exactly do you use acrobatics to get into vantage points?
And would athletics be necessary?

thanks again :D

I would imagine a combination of Illusion and marksmanship. Chameleon suit and archery. If you really wanna badass it up, then I suppose you could at some point work on a bit of destruction for enchanting purposes.

Acrobatics needs to be used to jump to high ledges.
Scout out an area first find a safe high place to jump to, then shoot.
Caves lack them them to be honest, forts are second best, aylied ruins are the best places do this.
Stealth is no security if you rush in, light armour gives you a boost to defense.

Note a minor skill is still of use just because you did not tag it, does not mean you never have to use it, and it will level with use.
So wear armour of any kind, use any weapon early on, the same for spells even if you have not tagged it as a major, as it can be done and sometimes is needed.
You are quite new to this game so just use everything untill you find a way to make Oblivion work for you.

Race: Khajiit

Illusion to help you see in the dark, and a few other things,

Khajits are born with that, you'll probably want the few other things

@NinjaSAS
Both of those are once a day spells, good in an emergancy but not very reliable
That and their effects can mostly be replicated at 50-75+ level of illusion.
So just buy a low level light spell in the Imperial city, weigh down your casting button to cast on a loop, and you will be able to do all those effects whenever you wish.
The same goes for the restoration effect on the serpent Birthsign.
