Class Forums, yes or no?

Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 9:30 am

I think we need those, spamming general section annoys alot and I think forums need to be shorted out because this is just annoying, half of the guides you can't find because there are to many similar threads with same name..

So I vote Yes to class section forums.

I vote no because it seems really unneeded. More work for the Mods aswell monitoring what should go where.

Also what he said below me v

Funny, when you say (more work for the Mods). I can't see they are montioring General forums at all. And class specific forums would actually have guides stickied.

There are no 'classes'. Even before they got rid of classes, there were never any class-specific forums because there are simply too many possible classes that exist.

I can just imagine all the "Destruction is Broken" threads littering the Mage forum. No, anything that reminds me of WoW is a bad thing.

In fact there are few most common classes at TES series "Warrior/barbarian, mage/necro, thief/assassin/ranger" Builds. It would fit fine if we had forums like these, and to guy that responds "WoW that way===>" you almost made me laugh... keep trying boy. :flamethrower:

Well they're kinda busy either IRL or checking on the other sections. More importantly you're assuming people will actually read the stickies (they wouldn't) and topics would be in the right place.

So many Negative responses, I don't see reason why wouldn't we have Class specific forum sections IT would help people, don't be selfish pricks seriously.

Sooner or later there will be Fan forums for specific class/builds. Anyway so why the [censored] did I even bother asking among trolls.

Not sure if they could even make them. Way too many variables and hybrids possible.
Which is what I like... all depends on the player, not the game in a sense.

That's the problem. There isn't any set classess. Say we had three sections. Warrior, Mage and Rogue.

Where would a spellsword go? Battlemage? Bard? Whatever the hell I play as?

Skyrim doesn't have classes are far as I know. So, your poll/question doesn't relly make any sense.

Given that there are no classes, what would you propse? To have three: Fighter, Mage, Thief? Or were you refering to the OLD class sytem that the previous TES games had? Or Soemthing else? Or are you just bored and wasting forum space?

I think it's a good idea. I can share my strategies and experiences with other High Elf Heavy Armor Puppeteers.

So when people make threads that results as boredom? Ok.

That might work... If this game had classes.
You can't even do Warrior/Mage/Thief because people are fully capable of mixing those things in any degree they wish. Where would you post about your character that sneaks around with a conjured two-hander raising dead bodies?

Mixing those ends up as different BUILD, generic class is [censored] Mage, Thief and Warrior. Now it would up to you if you want to build up as pure mage or battlemage, what ever makes you happy.
