Class if not pre-defined could still be defined

So we know we won't directly chose to be a warrior, spellsword, bard, rogue, etc. No problem. However, it would be nice if based on how we improve skills, the game would calculate what class the player character is at any moment. Maybe NPCs would even comment appropriately, "I'm guessing you are an aspiring battlemage." or later in the game, "that looks like one tough healer." We know this would be easy, because the Oblivion intro already had Baurus guess the player's class before it is chosen. The main difference would be that the class would be forever malleable until the player nears a level cap.

Since they can challenge you for a duel in whatever skill you're good at, the game world will know what type of player you are. Even without classes.

Yeah, Dungeon Siege and Fable both had a 'class' title generator, based on your skills.

Even Daggerfall had a history generator which determined a truncated life story for you based on your skills.
