Classical singing

Well, by the end of the month and at the start of the next are appliances for the classical singing in the music school, and I decided to give a shot after years of messing with classical guitar. However, they take in only 3-4 people, and there is a qualifying examination which consists of 3 parts, 1st two being rhythm and hearing tests, which does not trouble me.
The part where I'm lost is the 3rd part of the qualifying examination where we have to sing 1-2 classic/semi classic ("it doesn't have to be too serious" they say) pieces. Me never being into classic singing before other than some private lessons, I have no idea what the heck to sing :P

So can anyone recommend anything that's easier and sounds ok? I'm baritone btw. I've been searching youtube a bit, but it's mostly the most famous stuff such as Gershwin's operas or Pavarotti which either doesn't suit me, or, clearly, out of my league. :P

hm. what was first song that came to mind when they said that you'll have to sing one of them thing? what was the song you immediately thought of or soon after came to mind? it may(or may not) be like the choice but it might help with navigating towards likely options.
