Claws?

I'd like beasts to have natural claws. Man made weapon versions though, not so much.

I hope so, but Todd would rather cut Hand to Hand for being worthless then give gloves a Hand to Hand damage stat. I think that H2H is gone in general, for the same reason Mysticism was cut. The only difference is Mysticism was a storage spot for 'unique' spells and H2H could work very well but has always just been underdeveloped.

Yes it would be epic and give me a reason to play and Hand-To-Hand character,

Weapons could include: Knuckles (bladed, spiked), Katar, Gauntlets (spiked variations as well), Tiger claws, and Rings, thats ia ll I can think of right now.

I think there's a tipping point of realism that people want to see. Since it's a mainly western-styled game, people expect more western style combat.

Hand to hand just isn't as effective as a combat style. (Hears thousands of anime/JRPG fans readying the torches) People seem willing to suspend disbelief for stabbing a Dragon with a dagger, but punching a dragon takes it a step too far.

Implementing claws or the like beyond brass knuckles would probably just not happen because most people wouldn't spend a lot of time training in that style of fighting. It's a good way to get eviscerated when someone brings a weapon into play.
This kinda reminded me of that movie "The Gamers: Dorkness Rising". Had a guy that wanted to be a ninja elf monk or something like that and the DM was angry because it didn't fit his world.

There are silver swords to kill ghosts, silver arrows to kill ghosts, magic to kill ghosts, why can't I have some silver boxing tape so my hand to hand character can fight ghosts as well?

Because you don't need silver hands to punch ghosts.

Ya, you get a perk when you become a journeyman that lets you damage ghosts with your fists. It's never really explained how you suddenly know how to hit one with your fist...but not with anything else. It's rather random...unless there's some lore that explains it. I mean, I've never heard anything about it.

That would aid in fixing hand to hand. They should have spiked gauntlets, metal claws, brass knuckles, etc.

If given special abilities due claws, also give special disabilities due claws. I don't mind claws (and tusks etc) as weapons and critical tables, but I wouldn't expect a level 100 Khajiit come even remotely close to a Deathclaw ;) Claws could be a trait offered to certain races at character creation.

And then give us the ability to enchant them to do damage on hit. Every other combat style gets to deal elemental damage, why not Hand to Hand? :P

Having claws would be nice. Like in Morrowind except they would give a bonus to hand to hand? I could live with that.

I think that for the Khajiit and the lizard-folk (forgot their racial name atm...), claws would be just natural to put into the game. Change the animation for hand to hand attacks with those two races so that they slash instead of punch people. This just seems like common sense (which isn't so common), but that's just my humble opinion.

Don't see why people are against gloved weapons like claws. Hand to hand was never that exciting and was underpowered. Since there were unarmed weapons in Fallout 3 though, their addition to Skyrim is a possibility. Of course there is always a chance they'll just cut the skill.

There has always been unarmed weapons in Fallout.. I think they were just going with what had already been done in Fallout 1 and 2.

I hope they have hand-to-hand weapons, especially claws. That'd be great, I'm sure it would motivate me to use hand-to-hand a lot more. But I seriously doubt it'll happen though.

That being said, if they're in game I'll gladly eat my words. I'd love to tear people up with some crazy metal claws.

Beast races should have claws, but as fist weapons? What, is this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

...didn't the turtles all use weapons? I don't remember punching/scratching to play a big part of their fighting style.

But really, why can't I enchant my gauntlets so they can boost my damage along with some elemental damage on hit? Every other fighting style gets some form of elemental damage, why not unarmed? Also, explain to me why being punched by daedric gauntlets don't deal more damage than just getting hit my a bare fist.
