I was not sure if this should go in the Community Discussion board or in here. But I thought since it was to do with the version of Oblivion I got it would be best served being posted here.
But basically, the Septim coin I got with the special edition of Oblivion back when it first came out has lost it's shine over the years, which is rather unsurprising really considering it's a coin and meant to be an accurate replica. I wanted to go about cleaning it up and making it look nice and shiny again. I know they say Coke is a good idea for cleaning coins up and takes 5 minutes at least but before I blindly rush in and probably ruin the coin I wanted to to verify what the best method was from the fanbase on here.
I did do a forum search and a Google search to see if anyone had attempted this and found nothing. I know it seems like such a trvial thing to do but as I have never cleaned coins before I didn't want to try on a collectors item in case I ruin it. I hope someone can help me clear this up. (no pun intended!)
