Cliff Racers Return in Skyrim

Post » Fri Jan 01, 2010 9:12 pm

since the cliff racers were driven out of morrowind, i suspect they are in a other similar mountainous province by even risking the cold *cough* skyrim *cough* so hooray! cliff racers! :celebration:

No, they all perished heading to the Sea of Ghosts when the Chieftain of Thirsk picked them off with Auriel's Bow and a crate of Daedric arrows.

Seriously. They're gone for good.

The cliffracers can do to the dragons in Skyrim what they did to the dragons in Morrowind, which was eat all their food.

No, Cliff Racers only have a taste for the Nerevarine. They think anything less is to low for them.

bethesda are going to make the cliff racers four times more powerful, and twice the amount they had in morrowind, so be prepared for skyrim ladies and gentlemen! :shocking:

How about a deadly, non-annoying flying animal? Like.... I dunno. Angy Pegasus?

Oh they have to be annoying. Otherwise, what would be the point? I think they should have them flapping around like one mountain or something. Not the whole province, just one area so we can get all giddy when we hear annoying squak!

Without the ear-splitting audio I concur. Graceful, elegant, deadly, and silent...

I think it would be fun to have an in-joke quest where you come across some remote village high in the mountains that has been plagued by flying beasts that have a terrible piercing cry - they hire you to eliminate them, and off you go - only to find a valley full of cliffracers. To prevent them from infesting Skyrim the way they did Morrowind you must kill them all and destroy all their nests/lairs. (Every time you think you have killed them all another will swoop down on you, seemingly out of nowhere.) :D

Why would you want cliffracers back? they were the reason for my addiction to the sethealth->0 console command. I'd just snipe them out of the sky with the console as soon as I saw them, still do sometimes.

Maybe cliffracers should be tameable, and rideable!

*checks the date*

... it's not the april fools day? That means you're serious?
I have no idea why someone would love cliffracers. The person who does must have not played Morrowind or at least never visited the ashlands...

Swoop? More like float lazily down from on high... I swear, all I wanted them to do was descend so I could whack them to smithereens, but the AI just wouldn't let them. Screech, screech!

Please don't suggest such a terrible idea. The very thought sends shivers down my spine. No cliff racers. Please?

There should be on mega Boss Cliff Racer chilling at the tallest peak of the highest mountain. He will guard treasures beyond your imagining, including many thing that won't even be in Skyrim regularly that you all wish for. He will guard a stash or AK-47s, the portal to a multiplayer co-op world, and a land full of little children scurrying about, completely killable too (for realism's sake, not because I have a desire to kill children) Upon reaching this land, you will stand up from your computer desk / couch, and a sense of complete fullness will wash upon you. You will reach enlightenment, and every fiber of your being will evaporate into the air, and you shall live forever as an all-knowing being that lives in the wind.
