Cliff racers in Skyrim

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 4:24 pm

Ok..lets face it, the annoying repetitive evil little buzzards could possibly make a comeback on the eastern border of skyrim or further inland if they were feeling migratory
[and Vvardenfell erupted so...where the hell are they gonna go now?]
and if they do return in what way would they be realistically and interestingly be presented.

1:could you see them in small groups scavenging for weak, injured animals or fresh...maybe not so fresh kills?
2:could you see them as being a smaller breed that flys in a large flock stealing grain from local farms and in larger numbers attacking small settlements?
3:would you prefer the lone hunters stalking their prey from above.
4:all of the above?
5:none of the above?
6:other?

I hate them and would immediately mod them out of existence. No; I'd mod them so they die immediately so I can have some satisfaction in seeing the corpses!

The only cliff racer I hope to stumble upon is a burly drunken Nord flying a cliff racer shaped kite.

Of course he'd be singing the drunken burly Nord version of the cliff racer song.

As long as I don't end up with a queue of the bastards following me around... ugh, even the memory of that screech makes my blood run cold.

I don't understand why everyone hates cliffracers so much, you look up, press the right trigger (left click) twice, dead.

Sorry, but i'm still gonna go with Other:

They steal Bosmer mages and drop them from very high altitude on strange places, like the top of a chapel tower, a decorated fountain or even on you!

Other: It would be a cool animation if (along with flying) they actually crawled across cliff faces, using their wings as an extra pair of legs the way a bat does when on ground. And maybe multiple nests can be found along the cliff faces as well, hosting a community of them.

I think it would be cool, and nostalgic, to have cliff racers return in Skyrim. I'd like to see them behave in the way they did in MW, but in much limited numbers in the Eastern region of Skyrim.

Actually it says he drove them off the island. They are still alive. I personally want them in, just not as many. They could actually be really cool if they had nests up in mountain crags and tall trees. You could see them circling above a patch of ground and know there is a corpse over there that they killed. Sounds fun to me, as long as I am not gang beaten by them.

It's confirmed that there are going to be larger cliffracers in Skyrim.
They call them dargon's or something.

I love them and I want them back... maybe in smaller numbers and less crazy, but I like danger coming from above.

Sounds cool, like the Mountain Banshees from Avatar. :P

Follow your own advice dude. If you have the right to post unoriginal threads, then so does everyone else. And how convenient that you only gave a link to your thread out of the countless others centered on cliffracers.

Why? Why so many, why so redundant?
