Cloak Visibility Problem - Crysis 2 vs Crysis 3 Comparison

I know a lot of people including myself are finding Cloak very difficult to see sometimes in Crysis 3 multiplayer. So I thought I would post a comparison picture of how Cloak looks in Crysis 3 vs what it looks like in Crysis 2.

I think that part of the reason why cloak is inconsistent with its visibility is that the cloak outline is dark red. Most of the maps feature a red-brown colour scheme which makes cloak not contrast well. Crysis 2 Cloak is significantly easier to see.


If you’re wondering how I managed to get Crysis 2 Cloak in Crysis 3, it involved getting a matching screenshot of that part of the map without any players. Then I turned that into a texture which could be loaded up in the Crysis 2 Mod SDK, and then it was as simple as adding in a dummy nanosuit player scaling accordingly and taking a screenshot.

Should have the cloaker standing in the same spot :/ I don't remember them being that hard to spot in Crysis 2 :O
