I hope there are cloaks and hoods in Skyrim so I can look like Aragorn from the Lord of the Rings

Indeed! The first mod I downloaded for oblivion was capes and clocks by someone (Thats his name). And for Skyrim it would make sense because your in extremely cold weather at time, when high up on a mountain. So it would make sense....Though ma'iq the liar would disagree.

There will be hoods, Oblivion already had those, and we can see hoods in a few shots in the trailer (Note the part where someone is being assassinated in a tavern, for example.) But cloaks we've heard nothing about. I do hope that we'll see them, but I don't think we've seen anything to indicate their presence.

I personally don't think bethesda are going to include cloaks until they can simulate cloth pretty well. And I don't think a cloth simulator is included in Skyrim

again, they did have mage cloaks in oblivion, what i would really like is capes that you could have a self-made crest on it.

There was a robed guy in a hood in the trailer. Robes and cloaks are different things.

So it is, I posted that a while after I saw the trailer.

Cloaks and capes would be very nice, but likely too much work, as they would need fairly complicated physics regarding wind, movement, etc. I do not see it happening.

Its about like ladders, really more trouble than its worth. But it certainly would be nice and would make sense in Skyrim's cold environment.
