[WIP] Clock Town

Post » Sun Jun 26, 2011 4:39 am

I've recently started working on a mod to create Clock Town from Majora's Mask. I'm going to try to recreate the whole town, and eventually add all kinds of new quests that are centered around the town and its citizens. This mod aims to be a whole new experience within Clock Town, so I will not be trying to replicate any quests from Majora's Mask, and it will have very little to do with Link and his story.

So far I've been working on the clock tower, and have gotten a lot done with it so far.

I loved Majoras Mask!!! It's the only Zelda game I fully completed and got everything in :D

This looks very promising and VERY COOL!

Just wondering, are you going to put a hint of some sort that 'Link was here' as a easter egg or lore? :P

Thank you!

I do have some ideas, but I'm not going to give anything away  especially since that work is pretty far off. Just getting all of the models done is my priority right now.

anything Zelda in my eyes is awesome. You've earnt +1 MA point. (I do not keep track of MA points and they are worth nohing. So please keep track of your own MA points for the sake of having them :))

Looking good! I hope yo see the rest of the town :D - It was one of my favorite areas of the game.

I really enjoyed that game. I've played around 9 Zelda games - beaten 5 of those - and that one was perhaps my favorite along with The Wind Waker. I'm looking forward to exploring clock town again.

Got some more work done on south clock town. Trying to finish up the outer structures, and then I'll be detailing it before moving onto the next areas.

some of the textures still need some work, and the light beam from the light house is still a WIP. Any comments or suggestions are highly appreciated, especially constructive criticism.

Looking good so far. Was there a mask shop in clock town? I haven't played the game in so long that I can't remember exactly what even was in the town. :whistling:

Oddly enough there isn't. The happy mask salesman just hung around in the clock tower for the whole game (his shop was in Hyrule).

South clock town just has the tower. West clock town has the bank, the curiosity shop, the bomb shop, the post office, the sword trainer, and the lottery shop. North clock town is just the park with a fairy fountain. East clock town has the mayors office, the stock pot inn, the milk bar, the bombers hideout (with the astral observatory), and a couple of your average Zelda game places (like bomchu bowling, target practice, ect.).

All of these areas are going to be incorporated into the mod in some way or another (to make their uses Elder Scrolls specific), and I'll be adding even more interiors to explore.
