For my next playthrough, I'm planning on limiting myself to two guns, but I'm going for weapons that would be available/used in approximately the same time period. One of them's definitely going to be the Pacencia, but I'm having trouble deciding on the other. Basically, I'm looking for a gun that's everything the Pacencia isn't, so something that take out a lot of enemies at close range very quickly. I haven't had good experiences with the SMG's (not enough stopping power), and the Hunting Shotgun reloads too slowly without cheesing the animation. The Riot Shotgun's too "advanced" in comparison to the Pacencia. At this point, the top contenders are Maria and This Machine. Maybe I'm being too stringent in my own criteria, but do you guys have any suggestions?
