[WIPz] *E.C.F.R. Clothing Replacer/Additions

Still plugging away at this (when time permits)

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/Wesadam/EFCR/WAR_CRIMSONCOUNTESS_01.jpg
Again, for Barenziah (with the "Count" version for males :) )

I am not quite finished with this (I have yet to add a bit of ornamentation to
the bustle and make the male version). Once that is done, though,
I will go ahead an release these few outfits so far so that those wanting to use
them for their own characters need not wait for this mod to be
completed to do so :) .

'Til Later

I am going to make a character just to wear that twilight robe. :mohawk: It looks quite similar to a robe I wanted to make a long time ago but I was a noob and couldn't get it right. :(

Now get back to work, I am growing impatient. :stare:

What he really meant was:

We love you Westly and will all love you very long time when you finish. :hugs:

^^" Heh. heh heh. We love you Westly! [insert giant grin here] Please don't stop working on it.

(Yes, I know AOF was just kidding. ;P But I can't pass up a chance for good post material.)

Here is a look at the male counterpart to the Crimson Countess robe shown previously:

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/Wesadam/EFCR/WAR_CRIMSONCOUNTESS_m01.jpg

As one can see, it is darker in its tonality/shading (with more black
leather and less lace than the female version); different but still related :)

Also, I began work on a few racially specific outfits. To start, here is a peek at
one of the styles that I intended as a "Redguard" outfit/robe.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/Wesadam/EFCR/WAR_RDGRD_ROBE_1.jpg

I will stick with geometic patterns and straight angled silhouettes for
the most part (drawing inspiration from not only North African/Middle Eastern
styles, but a dash of India thrown in as well [as I like the Indian Kurta style
Tunics; such looks fantastic on the Redguards ;)]). By merging styles from
multiple real world cultures (while adhering to a set theme for the race), a
new style emerges all its own ;) ).

More to come; 'Til Later

Good stuff, Westly, this is probably one of my most anticipated mods as I can already imagine how much of a difference this will make when finished off in the game world. Love both of those new ones as well :)

Amazing as always, and I definitely agree about the Redguard style. :) Might that including some nice burkhas too, for the ladies?

Are any of these going to appear on Helseth as well?

These look fantastic. The green Count robe in particular will be perfect for my bard :D Speaking of which, once these are made, could I possibly make a version of my bard hat using your textures (so it all matches)?

EDIT: I'm curious, were you inspired at all by http://badhead-gadroon.deviantart.com/art/Lord-Dagoth-73490260 picture?

EDIT II: Last edit, could you take a screenshot of one or all of these dresses actually on the Queen Mother herself? :icecream:

No burkhas for the ladies (going for a religion neutral look for them;
well avoiding any relation to any real world religion, anyway  )

The closest thing that I will make to this are veils, but they
will be worn by more than just the Redguards :).

I am making one outfit for Helseth (uniquely his).

As far as making it for your bard, what you do for yourself in your own game is fine :D .

The "Count" version of the red outfit was not inspired by anything save that it uses
all of the elements from the female version so that the two relate; in other words,
if there is any inspiration to be found, the female robe inspired the male version
(and not any other outside artwork).

Once Barenziah is complete (with the head and hair crown at the ready as well), then I
will take a pic or two (one thing at a time, though ;) ).

Quick question.....

Are the clothing model your own, or they are from somewhere else?

They are from all over the place (from what BB resources are available). I have had to
do a bit of cosmetic surgery on the meshes, though, to get some of them to cooperate
(as well as making parts more universally compatible between the sixes by nixing a
few vertices here and there). There will be an itemized list for each article of clothing
upon completion of the project (so what sleeve is now paired with what
shirt/skirt/pant/belt/cape will be clear and easily credited in the future :) ).

Ah, perfectly understandable. I wasn't really thinking of burkhas in a religious sense--they have a very practical value too--but I completely understand wanting to avoid said issue. ;) Looks great, anyway. :D

Out of curiosity, will the wardrobe changing be an optional addon or part of the main mod? I love the designs of the twilight and crimson robes, but I like the green one most for Barenziah. I think it fits the most with her character.

Either way, this is looking fantastic :D

EDIT: You said several pages back that you had finished some 'poor' clothes, but you never posted screens. Could this situation be resolved please? :D

Great work, Westly. I can't wait to see what else you have churned out for the Redguard, and the Bosmer too, now that I'm thinking about it. As always, I know it will be top notch work.

Just a quick nudge to say I am nearing a preview release for this
(so that they items that I have made so far can be used by players
in their adventures). The preview mod will be called "Fine Clothier's
of Tamriel" and will feature what I have shown here, Melisande's
robes from MM, and a few more items that I have not yet shown ;) .

Still working on getting the preview release finished (polishing up a few robes
and making a few more variations). In anticipation of the release, here is a
look at what I have been cobbling for the Common Sets for the High Elves.
Right now, its just a quick look, really, at what is one style for the High Elf
common robes (as I have at least two more in mind). This particular look
will actually come in two (one with the long white skirt and a variation that
has the lower white portion of the skirt alpha'd out, exposing the trousers
underneath and giving a "tunic" look). This will also be available in a few
colours. Also, a preview of the boot for this set (which will also come in
variety of colours).

(now off to cobble a shop and a clothier to sell all these items :bolt: )
