Westly, I know Im very late with my question, but may I ask something about legion robes? Will there be an option with less-pure white cloth of it? I like the robes very much, but, all regular guards on street patroll wearing crystally-white brand new tunics in not so hygienic around-medieval ages just seem... not right?.. xP I dunno, maybe its just me. Im just curious if there would be any more variations of cloths, like worn and dirty ones?.. I mean not different colors but more a shades of white?
Terribly sorry for bothering!..

I like the legion robes. dunno if i would replace my legion guards with it.(who knows, it is aweome. i just like them a little grungier in their chain, personal preference only.) But it would be perfect for replacing MCA'S crusader's. I have already replaced for my game personally. but that is even more crusader like. it just says kill em all, and akatosh will know his own! keep up the good work. and your work is always good.

Nothing all that new to report here (been having frequent
thunder storms lately, so being able to actually get any
work as far as modding is concerned finished has been
irregular at best [rather nonexistent, actually]). But, to
keep the thread rolling along, here is a quick look at the
dirtier look for the blacksmith shirt (with some obvious
stains :D ).

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/Wesadam/EFCR/WAR_BLCKSMTHSHRT_m01a.jpg

I still have plans to make a few other variations on the well
worn look (for a lot of the gear already shown, including the
crusader type tunic previously shown).

More to come (as I am able ;) ); Take Care, All

The idea of worn clothing in Morrowind is absolutely epic...finally the peasants won't look as prim and clean as the nobles. ;)

WOW!

These are all really really awesome.

But just one thing:

Don't forget to add some shirts/pants that look like they have been smeared with food/beerstains and vomit, even the town drunk's gotta have some distinctive clothing too ya know.

Wow stunning work as always Westly. You are very, very talented.

Early next month I should have my laptop back in working order at which point I am going to be updating and refineing the NPC adder I made last year. I was wondering if once you release this would you grant be as kind to grant me permission to make an add on pack for my mod which would add some of your new clothes to my added NPCs where appropriate. If not then that's fine but I thought I would ask :)

Anyhow carry on the great work I can't wait to try this.

I must have the crimson count outfit, it would fit my current character perfectly. Keep up the good work Westly, everything looks good as ever.

Still knockin' away at this as time (and weather) allows; of
late I have been working on separates (shirts, trousers, skirts,
etc) so that those that might not like my "instant outfit robes"
will still have options (in the pre release) for articles that can be
mixed and matched :) . Here is a quick look at one of the shirt
styles (with support for both sixes, as always :D ).

I'll post more as I am able (as the weather, though a real motivator
for getting the mod completed, has not allowed for too much actual
time on the compy for modding purposes [what lightning and the like]).

'Til Later

The style reminds me of the Jedi robes from KOTOR. Brilliant texturing work there, as always.

I was going to protest, then I looked again...wow, you're right. A little more along the lines of the commoners' clothing in KotOR, but still...

I've not played KOTOR, so I will have to take you both at
your word (the last Star Wars games that I played was the
"Super" series for the SNES  ). The ones that I have
shown were inspired loosely on Chinese and Mongolian designs
(as far as the "wrapped over" robe style). I have been working on
a few more in this style as well (though a bit, err, more "expensive"
with patterns and more detailed trim work). In my mind, this style
might be more Dunmeri/s in design (bridging the gap between the
tribal nature of Ashlander clothing and the influence from the
Heartland/Mainland areas). I know Lucas/his designers drew
from the same inspirations when originally designing the look
of the Jedi, so any similarities are natural ;) .

More to come, as always; Later, All

@Starfire (I'll send you a PM with more details a bit later; I've just
finished a long bike ride and need to rest my muscles a bit before
heading out again :D )

I hadn't noticed it before, but you're right. And they work perfectly as a traditional Dunmer style.

Yes, I can definitely see the connection as a go-between between Ashlander and House Dunmer. That's why I'm eying it for my semi-tribal character. ;)

Holy crap, Westly. I get svcked into City of Heroes and I finally come back to THIS? Daaaaaaaamn, I have to catch up!

Your replacer, when finished, would still leave SOME of the original clothes intact, right? I mean, there's a lot of Bethesda stuff I still like...

The replacer, itself, will be modular ( so no worries as you
should be able to pick and choose which ethnic group/guild/faction
gets the new clothing ;) ) Ultimately, though, not every single NPC
will be replaced (but enough will be so as to give enough variety
among the denizens of the game :D ).

EDIT: I should add, though, that the clothing will not replace any actual
Bethesda/Stock clothing directly, but adds new items (so any
old favourites will still be available in game ;) ).
