[WIPz] E.F.C.R Clothing Replacer/Additions (Thread #2)

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:21 pm

This is an idea that I have been mulling around in my head while I have been working on my head replacer. The goal of this mod will be to create clothing that reflect the class of an NPC, house affiliation/rank, guild affiliation/rank, or what area of Tamriel thay are from/ethinc clothing. I think that this mod will be beneficial, as one will be able to tell what an NPC is all about before they have spoken to them (first imperssions and all that jazz). It would also be good for additional roleplay (say, for example, you are an selfmade assassin who hates the Telvanni; by recognising them by their clothing, one could avoid killing the "wrong" NPC). The main replacer/addition mod will be modular (so if you only want one group to have the new clothing but not another, then this will accomdate for this). So far I have made a fair amount of progress, but I still have a long way to go yet. In the mean time (til the full replacer is finished) I will be working on a subordinate mod called "Fine Clothier's of Tamriel". This mod will make available all that I have cobbled thus far in a yet to be dertermined shop ( so that players need not wait for a replacer alone).

Without further ado, here is a look at what I have managed thus far...

Royal Attire (these started out as a replacer for Barenziah alone, but the male counterparts could certainly be used on the richer male NPCs to add to the variety :) ).

The Green and Red robes also come in a "skirt" option (that shows more skin along the bust line ala common Elizabethian bust lines; males can wear these, too, but the gown will stay a gown in this instant [so the males will be cross dressing til I make a better option for them])

Whatever happened to the smith's clothes? And also I recall mention of a release a while back of a couple of them robes. <_<

The smith clothes are there, no worries (just edited them in :D ).

As for the release, I did not feel that the amount that I have cobbled
was enough (just yet). So, after I build up the inventory a bit, then I
will see about setting up shop so that all wayward adventurers can
give these a try in their own games ;) .

That blue robe, which I must have missed the shots of before, looks fantastic. As do the rest.

As always, great work so far!!

Holy hell, these are beautiful! Is your plan to make a full clothes replacer, like Better Clothes? I've never seen clothes that look this realistic in Morrowind before!

I wouldn't complain if there was a version with a shop in Telvannis for those who use TR. (Maybe even Sacred East if they release it soon enough)

Cobbled some desert/ashland friendly attire (I had Redguards in mind
when I started making them, but I think they would look fantastic on Khajiit characters too :D )...

And, again, the Jedi like look was unintentional (but I can not help if one sees the
resemblance, so I thought I would point it out that I am aware before someonelse does :D )

I am also making a Turban"ed" helm that will correspond to each over robe pattern/colour

Later (much more so these days)

Ooh. Those double-robes definitely have a style to them. Going to make for some very unique characters with attitude, if they're ever used in mods. Excellent work!

Edit: Pfft. Can't type today.

Very nice and realistic clothing, Wes.
The shop idea it's very nice, I like shopping!
A brand of the shop in TR would be nice too.

I've been gone for a couple of weeks, but I have returned with
more screenie goodness (at least I hope that it is good :) ).
The screens show a series of shirts (all of which also have
matching skirts). There is also a varied selection of shoes
and boots as well as a few "back packs" for those that like to
RP the overall look of their character when they are travelling
about the isles ;) .

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/Wesadam/EFCR/WARMISCBPVAR01.jpg

Not shown are the coordinating trousers, but all in all this is a mostly
complete collection of clothing (no gloves yet, but I'll work on those last).
And, even today, I cobbled an additional style of shirt/skirt/shoe, so I will
post pics of those as soon as I am able and draw this mod to a close
(school starts in a couple of weeks, so my nose is to the proverbial
grindstone at this point).

'Til Later, All
