Clothing Variety Mod?

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 1:24 pm

Another mod enquiry from me...

I use and love the old CNRP project to give some much needed variety to Cyrodiil's NPCs but as far as I can see this mod was never completed. Does anybody know of a similar mod? I remember a still older one called NPC New Clothes or something but I thought most of the clothing choices were pretty terrible, with among other things, the clothing trader in the Market District looking like Britney Spears video extra.

Thanks as always,
Doc.

I seem to recall someone created amod for NPCs changing clothes during the day. I do not think it add variety other than having NPCs change clothes during the day, so that al least is a little bit of variety.

Corpec also has a clothing mod for vanilla http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?showtopic=1061091

Hope this helps find what you are looking for.

Thanks Peter but that is not quite what I am after. It adds more clothing to be sure, but I want a mod that actually puts the new clothing on the NPCs in the world, around town, in the stores, that kind of thing. This sounds like it puts them on the random NPCs like bandits and what not.

From ClassyClothingCompendium's tesnexus description: "Clothes are added to leveledlist so npc can wear them and added to vendor leveledlist has well. So you can find them throughout many of Vendors in World has well."

Then get my http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1039869-beta-relzcore-randomclothing4npcs-beta-relz mod to go along with it has well. Which add clothing leveledlist to nearly ALL Npcs in game and let them switch out clothing every few days once again.

Also http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21627 has well..

There is the older http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11377, but I forgot which version is best.

I use it along with CNRP and CorePC clothes - I don't even remember what the NPC clothes are supposed to be.

Search on Planet Elder Scrolls for alternate (possibly newer version) and the FCOM patch on Nexus.

The only issue I have is that it does add stripper/[censored] clothes (nothing against strippers and [censored]s mind you). In the long run none are near as risque as you might see on a nexus picture of the day and in a game where myth and fantasy are in such constant abundance (minotaurs fighting goblins fighting you) ... what is one more set of fantasy escapism?
