I had him as a companion at Trinity Tower then when I got Strong I send good ol'e Cods (who I had loaded up with tons of items I needed for copper) to Abernathy Farm....do another quest with Strong then head to Abernathy to take Codsworths junk but he is no where. Build a bell and he never cam. Went to Santuary and Red Rocket (those are my only 3 populated settlements) and rang bells at each and searched everywhere and he is gone.

Anyone know what might have happened?

PS I checked the housed in Santuary and he isnt inside the old house hiding.

I've had companions disappear for a while and then show back up later. I don't know if you tried sleeping at abernathy and sanctuary or sitting and waiting but I would do that and see if he turns up. Codsworth in my game disappeared from Santuary for a while and I eventually found him in one of the houses stuck in a corner not moving anymore. It wasn't even the sole survivors old house, so carefully check all buildings if the waiting thing isnt working for you. Also go back to trinity tower to make sure he isnt just hanging around there.

They travel in real time.


I suggest maybe waiting, or sleeping.


He should show given some time...

Well after I got strong I went to Goodneighbor did a quick quest, then I followed the Freedom Trail to find the Railroad and I figured fast traveling to all three of my settlements would have made a day go by so I will try waiting. Thanks all
