Max walked over to Harrow and took off his helmet, looking clearly at the robot in the distance. He wasn't so worried about the giant robot anymore, he figured that they would take care of it in due time. He just wanted to go kill some more Enclaver soldiers. Max looked around at the others, and pulled out a cigar.

"Well Sentinel, what are we going to do about that giant bastard?" Max said lighting his cigar, and looking at Harrow. Max gave a smile, a somewhat curious look to what would be done about the giant robot. "I say we go and tear the giant [censored] up. Make a point to the Enclave?"

Patrick dusted himself off it was one hell of a crash he had to sit down. He walked up to the two sentinels and sat. His head was still ringing and his vision was a bit blurry. Ed said that they had to take the robot down without destroying it. Patrick thought he was hearing things that sounded so impossible. Pete then mentioned the EMP bomb.

"Hey guys if it's of any interest I'm not to shabby with explosives I could take a look at the bomb see if everything checks out. Pete or Ed just tell me what to do I will follow you guys to the end I trust your judgment."

Pat admired his Brothers he truly would follow them to the end they were all incredible soldiers.

Edward

He thought it out and went over to Pete.

"I've got a plan. I radioed in and have some Initiates searching for the EMP bomb, if they can find it it should be here soon. Once it get here I'll get in the bird and drop it on the robot. It should take out the robot temporarily and some of the Enclave equipment. You will lead in the squad and take out as much Enclave as possible inside the base while I distract them with the bird outside. We secure the base and hold it down until reinforcements come in to haul the robot back to the Citadel. Then we will head out and continue to look for Autumn. Its your time to shine Pete. Are you up for it?"

I grinned and nodded at Ed, "Of course, I'm ready for this, just keep one thing in mind..." I said to him, then my voice dropped to a whisper, "You have to make it through this Ed, sure you'll get there faster than anyone else with the Bird but if things go bad then get out of there, we need you," I then brought my voice back up to it's normal pitch, "I'm ready for this, as soon as that bomb get's here, if it does and as soon as you head out we'll be ready to screw up some Enclave!"

Edward

Hours later everyone was prepped for battle and on edge. Finally they could see the Vertibird containing the EMP bomb coming in, out of the sight of the Enclave robot. The bird landed next to Big Bird and the Initiates quickly loaded it onto the new Vertibird. It was decided they would attack from the other side, and their pilot would assist Edward in distracting the Enclave. Their leader, Knight Gerard, was on a comm link with Edward, Pete and the new pilot, Knight Ferris, and they would all coordinate the attack together.

"Load up boys" Edward yelled and everyone proceeded to get onto the Vertibirds. Edward lifted his into the air and took off with the other Vertibird following them. He flew in quickly and opened the cargo doors as they hit the ground, letting Pete order the troops onto the ground outside of the base. The other Vertibird said he had dropped his men too. Just then an alarm started ringing and Enclave troops started pooling out of the base under the cover of a wall. Edward lifted up the Vertibird and fired a nuke at the group of Enclave, quickly disposing of most of them.

He lifted up into the air and flew towards the robot. It started to come out of its camo and he could see writing on it, the name. Apparently it was called Liberty Bravo. Must be the same type as Liberty Prime, just a bit different Edward surmised.

Slowly Liberty Bravo turned to Big Bird and started to power up its lasers, to which Edward prepared to dodge.

I grunted as I moved up, Ed was in the air while the lasers of the Robot, Liberty Bravo, rushed past him. I gasped, I didn't want anything bad to happen today, enough had happened in the last couple. I looked behind me at the men that were with me, which were pretty much most of them. I brang my hand up to my ear, "Okay, Ed, we've landed and we're starting to move up, we can't risk going any further, our pilot's too edgy," I muttered, bringing Ed up to speed, "Keep up that dodging, keep moving up, we'll see what we can do about those soldiers."

We continued moving up, running really quickly, staying out of view of the robot, we were soon in range of the Enclave Soldiers and Ed was continually moving away from fire. I grunted, then turned around, "Okay! Come on, let's do this men!" I yelled to them, picking up my rifle and starting to fire shots at the Enclave Soldiers that were in range.

Edward

Edward dived and ducked, trying to keep away from the lasers and get above the robot so he could drop the EMP bomb on it. He dodged a blast and was about to get hit from the next one when the other Vertibird came in, taking the heat of the robot. He drove the Vertibird as high as he could get it and was hovering above it, about to drop the cargo bay door and let the EMP blast roll out when he saw a Vertibird diving towards Pete and his team. He dived towards it quickly without a seconds hesitation and let loose of all the turrets blasts on the cockpit, frying the pilot and co-pilot and watching the Vertibird drop to the ground and explode on some unsuspecting Enclave soldiers.

"No need to thank me," he chuckled, "being awesome is part of my job description."

He turned back to the robot and drove up towards it, getting above it once again and he pressed the cargo door button, dropping the EMP bomb.

It rolled out of the door towards Liberty Bravo, and fell lopsidedly through the air before clunking on the shoulder of the robot and releasing a large EMP blast which disabled the robot...

...And the other Vertibird. It fell to the ground as the pilot screamed through the radio, and Edward tried to put it out of his mind at the moment, knowing that he had to be concentrated at the moment.

"Continue to move in Pete, lots of their equipment should be disabled, clean the base of them while I distract them."

I laughed, a blood curdling laugh to top it off, "Okay Ed, we're heading in, hopefully their laser weapons will be screwed too," I muttered into the mouthpiece. I started bolting across the ground with the other men following. I brought my hand up to my face and pointed at the base, the men yelled and ran for it. I grinned, this was my favourite part, the slaughter. I grinned and followed them, shooting down the bewildered Enclave Soldiers when they tried to fire their jammed weapons.

We cleared through the front lines and entered the bunker, I panted and opened the Computer Terminal on the outside. I noticed an officer crawling, injured, nearby, I picked him up and slammed him in front of the Terminal, "Open this door up and we might let you live, or better yet, kill you quickly," I muttered in his ear, he stubbornly stood there. I turned him around and grinned, picking up a blood splattered pistol on the ground.

I pointed it at him, "If you don't do what I ask you to, I'll make sure you die so slowly that you won't know what life means anymore!" I then aimed at his kneecap, proceeding to start to pull the trigger. He turned around quickly and typed something in, the door opened. I chuckled, "Good for you, now, thanks, I'll keep my end of the bargain," I muttered in his ear, I then sighed. Bringing the gun up to his head, I looked away and pulled the trigger. I heard the thud as his body hit the ground.

I looked at the men and sighed, "Okay, you guys get in there and clear it out, I'm gonna see what I can do about that Robot," I yelled to them, walking past them and towards the giant monstrosity. I thought I noticed a kind of door at the bottom and that's what I headed for.

Edward

Edward saw a Vertibird landing pad and headed for it. Soon after the EMP bomb was dropped he realised that he couldn't try to distract them because there was nothing to distract outside. The Vertibirds were all malfunctioning and their weapons didn't work, so he decided to head in.

He touched down and turned on the Vertibirds automated defenses before heading into the base. He walked around for a little while, slaughtering some Enclave and having fun, when he walked through a door and ran into Pete.

"Hey man, what are you doing?" he asked.

I looked at Ed and grinned, "Heading over to that Robot, I think theirs a kind of hatch on the side, I was wondering if it was possible to enter it," I said to him, chuckling, "It looked like a hatch from a distance so I decided that I'd check it out, all the men are on Search and Destroy in the base, so I thought I wouldn't be missed for the moment." I then laughed, "Come on Ed, wanna check if we can get into the robot? If we can it'll be pretty small, but who knows what's in there if it's possible!"

Edward

"Hells yeah I do, sounds awesome, maybe we can control it from inside? Anyway, you lead, I have no idea where I am."

(OOC: Gotta go for a little while guys, Francois take over for me please. And you know how you gave me permission to control your characters in stories if you were busy? Same goes for you and all of my characters (plus leading Cold Steel). Cool.)

(OOC: Ok, no probs M'heree, only problems I'll ever have at night is getting chucked off...)

IC:

I grinned at Ed and ran towards the robot, as I thougt there was a kind of hatch. But it seemed locked, I sighed, "Ed, got any explosives?" I asked him, he laughed himself, "Yeah, actually, grabbed some off of Big Bird just before, just must've guessed that this was going to happen hey?"
I laughed with him, taking the explosvives out of his hands, my face grew serious as I started strapping it to the door. I set it all together then quickly backpeddalled to a safe distance, I watched Ed get back himself and I pressed the button on the detonator.

I watched the hatch blow inwards, into the robot, excited I ran in. Inside like I'd guessed was the kind of control center of the robot. A lot of the panels were fizzing but some were just looking a bit less powered up. I was worried that such an EMP blast had only fizzed out half the circuits. I grumbled, this didn't feel right. I looked at Ed, "Hey, can you stay here for a bit? Cover the entrance, I guess, if that's alright with you, I'll just check up further," I muttered to him, running up the small metal scaffolding that were supposed to be stairs.

I continued up, it started getting darker and darker, but when I got up to the top it was quite bright. There was a kind of control center up the top, I grinned and tuned into Ed's signal, "Hey, come on up, you gotta see this!" I muttered to him, looking with awe at the technology.

(OOC: Yep, being forced off, sorry, bye)

Patrick had his orders clear out the enclave base. He proceeding checking his corners as he went along always at the ready. As he went along the corridor clearing out rooms with grenades before turning the corner and blasting anything left alive he wondered how Ed and pete were doing with the robot.

"I'm sure they can handle it" he murmured to himself just before shooting an Enclave soldier right between the eyes.

At the end of the long hall he found a sort of directory room explaining which room was which and how to get there. He noticed there was still a barracks and training room to clear out but then he noticed something of interest. He used his radio to call the others

"Sentinel Harrows and Sentinel Shield I may have found something big, it's another armory and judging by this floor plan its twice the size of the one we found in Springvale. Sir this armory could give us enough tech to kill any enemy we come across whether it be Enclave or mutant. Should I proceed or hold my position and wait for you guys to take down the robot. Over."

Edward

"Hold your position, we can't risk losing that cache. All of Cold Steel, form up on Patricks position. I have a plan." he grinned as he thought of the looks on their faces when he put his plan in place.

"C'mon Pete, lets get this rust bucket moving." he chuckled.

They quickly found the power control of Liberty Bravo and found that they needed a new fusion reactor to get it working again. They both went up to the Vertibird hangar and found a working Fusion reactor and hauled it back to the robots generator room. They connected it all up and bolted it in place then proceeded up to the control room. The room was cramped but could hold Edward and Pete, and they sat down in the two control seats. The controls had been taken from a Vertibird control panel and were extremely similar, so he had no trouble getting the robot working again and taking it around to the outside of where Patrick said the cache room was. He activated his radio and gave the command to move in.

"Move in Cold Steel, Pat you lead 'em in. Don't shoot anyone, tell them to drop their weapons, and radio back to me all of their locations. Me and Pete sure have got a surprise for you boys." he yelled.

Patrick got the call "Lets move in boys but we have been ordered to take them alive. Ok heres the plan I'm going to use this flash bang to blind them then we will go in there and take them down... hard."

Patrick went up to the door of the barracks opened it just enough to throw the flash bang inside, then close the door quickly. He heard the bang and burst in the door going to the nearest Enclave soldier, who was standing there dazed, and punched him in the face then kicking his weapons away. He pointed the gun to his head and yelled.

"If any of you [censored] move you die and some of the boys don't take kindly to you so unless you want a slow painful death I suggest you listen."

Patrick then radioed in "Sir we have captured the Enclave forces. We will await your next order."

(OOC: Damn, um, I was going to tear into the building and scare the hell out of them with the robot but you know, a flash bang works too I'll just have to use the Robot for something else ^_^ )

Edward

"Ask the officer about Colonel Autumn. Tell them if they don't give up his location, we will not hesitate in nuking New Raven."

He looked around at the control panel in front of him and spotted something that caught his attention, it was a button labelled 'Thermo'. He pressed it and instantly the screen in front of them went to thermal vision. He could see the Cold Steel guys walking around the cache room, pointing their guns at the Enclave forces on the ground. But more importantly he could see a group of Enclave amassing in the Barracks. We'll just have to do something about that.

He maneuvered the robot towards the building and, with Petes help, extended the arm and ripped open the building, startling the remaining Enclave. He found a intercom which broadcasted into the air, and he told them to drop their weapons or die. Two chose to drop their weapons, three chose to run, and ten chose to shoot. The two who dropped their guns where the only survivors.

(OOC oops my bad :facepalm: nice job of fixing it but)
"Yes Sir. Good work with the robot."

Patrick looked around and saw an officer "Get up you piece of filth now we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Where is the Colonel?"

The officer spit in Patrick's face, Pat smiled this was about to get fun. He punched the officer in the face, twice, nice and hard. The two blows knocked out some teeth and broke his nose.

"Now would you mind telling me?"

The officer gave him the finger, Patrick then broke it. He was starting to get fed up with this he pulled out his laser rifle and pointed it to his groin.

"Do you really wanna die like this?"

The officer looked in horror at Patrick and muttered "He... hes in the command center further down into the base its, its heavily guarded and too deep underground for a nuke to reach him."

"So how do we get there?" Patrick asked pushing his rifle just a little harder into the officers groin.

"Theres an elevator thats the only way I swear I don't know anything more."

Patrick radioed in "There we go Sir did you get all that?"

Edward

"Yes I did Paladin Patrick. Congrats on the promotion, you did good well bud, I'm proud of you. Everyone meet up on the surface, we hold down the base until reinforcements get here to secure the robot and the cache, then we go after Autumn. When this is all over your all getting a drink on me. Patrick, bring the Officer to the surface for further interrogation, kill the rest."

(OOC: We won't progress anymore until Francois is on, he is kinds needed as the right hand man of the team. Feel free to rap things up around the base guys, but apart from that hold your horses, calm your farm and all that. H3 out.)

(OOC Lol my farm is calm, its cool I'm sleepy anyway.)

"Sir this is an honor truly thank you. You don't know how much this means to me. We will meet with you asap. Patrick out."

Patrick had achieved everything he had hoped for he had done his family proud and he knew his brother would be proud. He looked over to the Enclave officer.

"Your coming with us." Patrick knocked him out with the butt of his gun and hoisted him over his shoulder.

As he was leaving the room he turned his head to the left and said "Boys leave no witnesses waste 'em."

I didn't like the brutality of my brothers. If the soldiers were anything like my grandfather, they had been pressed into the Enclave. Still, I could only watch as Patrick beat an officer senseless, and gave the order to kill any witnesses. Before I could even give a word of restraint, plasma and laser trails cut the air. And all this bloodshed, just for the tools to create more bloodshed.

(OOC: Since I'm not on for hours at a time, when I'm not here my character is on cruise control)

John sat and watched as energy weapon fire lanced through the air. His brain tuned out the fact that some of the fire came from his gatling laser. Taylor knew that the Enclave bastards would have done the same to his whole squad if they'd gotten a chance. They had just beat them to the punch. His time as a Regulator had shown him that you can't trust Enclave soldiers. Now when he found them in the Wasteland, he put a bullet in them and cut off a finger. Now he just told himself he was following orders.

(OOC: I'm back, sorry I go early on weekdays... If you want I can post up when I'll be on etc.)

IC:

I grinned, this was beginning to be FUN for a difference. I looked at Ed and I wondered, he was young, but he had so much responsibility on his shoulders... How he was making it through this I wondered. I scoffed at my own thoughts, that was stupid, he was a great leader, better than me. I went and patted him on the shoulder, "Okay, Ed, what's up next? I feel like these guys deserve a break, even though we should strike while the irons hot, theirs no point if the irons bent."

Edward

"I know what you mean, we all deserve a break, but Elder Rothchild warned me about this when we left, I believe he said something along the lines of "No rest for the best and no mourning for the dead." We have to strike hard, fast and continuously, before they can heal. Or in Autumns case, escape. As for whats up next, the back up is just starting to arrive, so its time to move into the underground. Lets hand over control of the robot to-"

"WARNING, COMMUNIST ORBITAL STRIKE IMMINENT. LIBERTY BRAVO SUGGESTS WE GET THE HELL OUTTA HEAR, SIR." blared the robot through his speakers.

"Oh my God why do they keep trying to kill our robots with orbital strikes!" yelled Edward before activating his radio, "Cold Steel, load up as much as you can of the cache onto Big Bird and get out of here, same goes for all other Brotherhood forces in the area, Pete and I will take care of the robot."

I cursed, this was bull, Ed had spoken exactly what I thought... Why the hell did they always want to blow up our robots with Orbital Strikes? I looked over at Ed, "Come on man, well, okay, it's your choice, do we leave the robot behind to get put into shrapnel or do we try and get it out of here?" I asked him, muttering, "I don't know what to do for once, if we leave the Robot's [censored] but if we stay, we might get killed if we don't make it..." I said, my voice barely above a whisper, I sighed, "It's your choice Ed."

Edward

"We are NOT leaving this robot. I refuse to. The Steel I was born from will be Cold before I let the Enclave take this away from us." he said, using the squads motto, "Liberty Bravo, can you give me an ETA on the time until the nukes hit?"

"47 SECONDS AND COUNTING." replied the robot.

"Go to automatic mode, put as much distance between you and the base as you can in 40 seconds. Put your shields up too. Prepare for a blast." said Edward as he dragged Pete off of the robot. "Now, we run."
