Coldharbour

4E 67

As the empire reels back from the Crisis of Oblivion, worship of the Nine Divines grows exponentially throughout Tamriel. Temples, wayshrines, and even simple priories received a massive facelift, becoming lined with gold and built with marble. In doing so, the people of Cyrodiil were blessed with an enormous surplus of crops by the Nine, leaving every harvest with a large festival at the Imperial City.

Molag Bal, however, despised this and at the festival of Harvest's End, took a group of citizens and placed them in his hellish plane of Oblivion, Coldharbour.

You remember nothing of the abduction, just that you were enjoying yourself at the festival, you blinked, and you found yourself in one of the most inhospitable places you've ever seen.

*******

Coldharbour is a place of strife and discord and the home of the vile Molag Bal, King of [censored]. It is an exact replica of the planet Nirn, though desecrated and ruined. The ground is muddy, the sky is on fire, and the air is freezing. His beloved vampires populate this place, as well as the Daedroth, the crocodile headed monsters under his command.

I know there isn't a lot of lore about this place and I hope to mold some of it to the RP. I am also willing to hear some of you guys' suggestions.

I know that. I was just giving this as a "what I have so far..." and was looking for some suggestions on the realm. I couldn't possibly make everything up.

Where is it taking place? All of Cyrodiil or just a city?

@ Wooly: I knew that. I meant where in Coldharbour.

The RP is in the ruined Imperial City of Coldharbour.

On thing I am having trouble deciding is if there should be NPCs within this realm. What is your take?

It says on the UESP:
Coldharbour, the immense realm of Molag Bal, is also one of the most inhospitable realms, consisting only of charnel houses and vast slave pens. Any mortal found here is captured and placed in one or the other. It resembles Nirn except darker and more beaten and violent.

So I would say no, save for a few ones that eluded capture. This could also be part of the plot (avoiding capture).

The cold harbour isn't a friendly place. You don't live there (If I recall correctly), you just die...pretty much.

I guess there could be a few friendly vampires, but the realm would be mostly hostility
