I'm going to start developping a bounty hunting mod, but I need to know what you guys 'n gals want to see in such a mod

Ideas I'm considering to implent
  • Dead or Alive Bounties (still need to find a way to get the alive thing)
  • Dead-only Bounties
  • Alive-Only Bounties (still need to find a way to get the alive thing)

Ideas I'm going to implent
  • Random NEVER-ending bounties

Ideas I'm not going to implent
  • Command Humanoid Effect to capture a living bounty

ive always wanted to play a bounty hunting mod, good on you for taking it up dane! Id like to see a few dark brotherhood members and thievesguild members being captured, as well as a fewhigher ranking members from those guilds. id also like to see options for dead or alive or alive only or dead only.

Could you explain the capture part of your idea? and about the dead or alive that sounds nice (I'll make a list)
EDIT: Mabye a custom Soulgem-ish spell for the alive capturing

Take a look at Mirili's quest (Taxonomy of Obsession) in SI for ideas. That's the capture the creatures one, and I'm sure it would be adaptable to NPC capture.

@Ghastley it is a nice Idea but it is conflict-ridden, because every guard would try to kill the bounty (when they are bandits that is) and it would be impossible to complete any living bounty thing

Random bounties - at least after the hand-crafted ones are done. That way we can continue being a bounty hunter forever, kind of like in that Dark Brotherhood mod where it randomly generates assassination quests and makes new NPCs.

Thats the purpose of the mod already :) but thanks anyway I'll add it to the list

I sure you could prevent this through means of a special capturing spell script. You could make a capture spell that requires the target to be badly damaged or something cool like that and then makes them follow you. You could use the script to add them to a faction that makes them really frendly with everyone or (probably better) reduce their aggresion.

you find the NPC and talk to them and bring them back alive to the guards, without killing them.
