This is why CEs shouldn't have figurines or statuettes or ANY KIND OF STUPID MODEL in them.

^ Your opinion.

My Opinion:

I think the statue is cool as hell, definitely a worthy feature in the CE. I can't wait to unpack that box cruise through everything, then play Skyrim until my eyes bleed.

My opinion:

I think the statue is overpriced as hell, and its mere presence in the CE negates any legitimate extra content in there. There's nothing I'd like less than trying to find a place for the huge box, brought about by the plastic dragon model, when all I want to do is play the game.

The collectors edition is by far the most disappointing thing about skyrim, i really hate this trend lately of those damned statues/figurines for games. We aren't children give us good stuff, not toys. Oblivion CE was awesome, and not nearly as expensive as skyrims.

They should release another "middle" edition for those who are not satisfied with the standard edition but can't spend $150 for a plastic toy either. I'd gladly pay $70-80 for a special edition with game, normal map, making of dvd, soundtrack cd and a tiny little piece such as coin, ring, amulet, ect...

That box is HUGE! which makes me think the statue is really big... which is unsettling, I'd prefer a smaller toy... such as an Alduin-shaped usb stick with the soundtrack on it ;)

Yeah, I realise that that's the solution, and don't for a second believe that I'm one of the people labouring under the illusion that Bethesda are forcing me to buy a CE filled with rubbish. Totally my choice.

However, it would be nice if the CE wasn't so crap that an enthusiastic fan such as myself doesn't want anything to do with it.

Most beautiful box I've ever seen. Can't wait to pick it up at the midnight launch 11.11.11.

1000 times this. The Witcher 2 has a mid-priced edition and it sold quite nicely as it is the best bang for teh buck. The ones who only care about the game have the regular edition, the rich loot-crazed :D collectors have the CE, what about us, the low > middle class, don't you have anything prepared for us Bethesda?

Hell yes, but it has to be lossless quality!

That'd be cool, although I'd trade the Alduin form for the Nord Dragonborn form :goodjob:

This. I would even raise to 90-100 if they added an updated Empire pocket guide or an artbook. But $150 for a plastic replica? Come on...

Yeah but not everybody's playing a Nord dragonborn. Alduin is a more relevant figure for this game

I know, I am thinking more about the shape of that memory stick, Alduin is too... irregular and pointy, the Nord is more compact and user friendly.
