So.....Collectors Edition anyone?

Bioware and EA have been particularly cheap lately with theirs. This time around with Dragon Age II it was ALL digital items. They couldn't even be arsed to put the soundtrack on a disc so even that is a digital download. :shakehead:

The DA2 Signature Edition has to rank as one of the most disappointing collectible editions I've ever seen: even if not for the fact that I had to contact their support department half a dozen times to unlock the extra digital content, the packaging was rubbish, frankly. I suppose "cheap" sums it up: they could at least have included an art book and soundtrack CD. I suppose at least the price reflected what was included, but I'd rather have had something worthwhile.

Hopefully it will be announced soon, so I can save up. I want it to contain a dragon figurine perched on the peak of a mountain. That would be cool.

I'm not a fan of in game bonus items for pre orders, but I definitely would like to see a sweet collectors edition.

I'm a collector and couldn't care less for ingame bonus content. That's lame, actually.
I'd say yes to lore book, art book, making of dvd, cloth/leather map, soundtrack disc, and something that i can wear bracer/necklace/medallion.

No. If collectors edition should include items in game, then those items should not automatically make your character better. If, however, it features a mildly modified armor set with the same stats as the normal one but slightly different looks, I can live with that.

If it came with extra lore, pictures, artwork, music, then yeah, I'd definately buy it.

If you simply just get the pre-order edition you'll get in-game bonuses
Get the Collecter's and you'll have a wide array of things.

Yeah, I would love to have a Art Book or Cloth Map.

What about a Dragon Replica? Not life-size of course.

I like the idea of the Black Soul Gem.

Well, I am buying the game on release day.
but if both were availabe that day, then yeah, I would probably pay extra for a collector's edition.

I will probably get the collector's edition. As long as it is better than the Fallout New Vegas CE. <_<
