So, I've been mulling this idea around for a while and was thinking now might be a good time to bring it to everyone's attention. The College of Winterhold is one of my favorite locations in Skyrim, and I felt that while it was portrayed well in Skyrim, the limits of the game made it so it didn't reach it's full potential. With an RP however, we wouldn't be restricted and we can portray it as it was meant to be, a school dedicated to the study of magic, and the acquisition and study of magical artifacts. Emphasis is on that last part there, as it gives an excellent premise to go through some dungeon crawls, as well as the standard day to day tedium of the school.

I will have a proper intro up within a day or so, but for now here's a small list of important info:

1.) This will take place during the events of Skyrim, so we may encounter dragons.

2.) For obvious reasons all characters would have to be magic users. Using a melee or ranged weapon is fine in combat as long as it's supplemented by spells.

3.) The age for characters should remain under 30, as older mages would generally be experienced enough to not require teaching (not to mention part of the premise is that we are one class of around the same age and skill level).

Other than that, I'm still deciding on the specifics of things, and would greatly appreciate input and feedback on the idea.
