I have entered into the room where you have to line up the oculatory and I have flames but I don't have the frostbite spell. I am a powerful made so I sort of skipped over the weaker spells. Well I read the book and it says I already know the spell frostbite but I don't. I tried to reload the save and it still wouldnt let me learn the spell. Is the quest broken?

If you truly do not have Frostbite, you may be able to use the frost breath shout instead.

Hmm, Ive only ever used frostbite, flames seems to reset the puzzle. Are you on pc? Any mods running?

There are spell tomes on the table behind the buttons for all those dummys who are inept at magic, or just choose to ignore it.
