I just remembered that Colonel Moore fought alongside the troops at the endgame. I saw her fighting but didn't see General Oliver or any other office. It was chaotic and I may have missed them...did anyone see the others? I hope this isn't too spoilerish. So I have to give her that...she steps up.

My only problem with the NCR has been the leadership but it could be from civilian leadership. Quartermaster Bardon at Hoover Dam says it best for the NCR and I find his attitude throughout the troops of the NCR...that's why I support them in spite of Moore. :)

computers usually don't get it when I'm sarcastic, for example last Thursday:
[Computer]: Do you wish to blow up your computer?

[Yes.] [Yes, lol] [No.] [Help]

I clicked Yes, lol. But the computer didn't understand my sarcasm, and blew up anyway.

People who DO understand sarcasm are usually people who have experience with other people telling jokes and sarcasm..

I am NOT schizophrenic ok! Also yes i realize he quoted MY post and when i quoted someone else s post i was agreeing with them so i don't know what elvis was talking about when he said that he can do what he wants i know the person can do what he wants I was saying that you shouldn't hate a Faction because you hate one person in it. BTW just end this already its annoying.

Gentlemen, on topic please.

Ahem, anyway. As stated, I prefer Colonel Hsu, he actually understands that being a leader is about more than just acting tough and fighting to the death. He see's that it takes more than just bullets and bravado to command and lead others. Also, unlike Oliver, he actually expresses concern for his troops, not 'troops' in the glorified image of a soldier over their nations banner.

yah really moore just doenst care about her troops just as long as the job gets done and is done with violence. Get her out of the picture and it would be far better for the ncr including Oliver and maybe Kimball.

Colonol Hsu is wise, if he'd be general I would almost say the NCR isn't a ''grey'' (to me they're more like between neutral and evil) faction no mo' mo'sackra, and they'd just be a good karma faction :)

I wouldn't say so, just because he's wise don't mean he wouldn't fall to greed.

Spoiler
Why isn't he the one selling the supplies, misdirecting NCR troop movement and spying for the Legion, WHY!!!!?

well I find NCR evil in some aspects, like how one person doesn't make a faction evil, one person also doesn't make a faction good.

examples of this are the NCR's military training: It svcks. Those soldiers (who believe in the NCR and its ideals) get a 3 week training and no armor. Yeah, that's really respectful. That's simply something I consider evil.

Hsu. Like there's a comparison. Moore wants you to kill people, ok she's hard assed and that's better than being a complete sap (erm, everyone else in the NCR...) but generally all she does is order you to kill things. That's it. She throws a hissy fit if you don't kill things.
And they call the legion bloodthirsty.

Hsu has a good manner, always calm, logical but without being detached. He clearly cares for his men and as others say would and should be the general if it weren't for the nepotism in the NCR.

The only other officer worth a damn is Hanlon and to an extent Crocker, though I think I just like him because he acts the stereotypical diplomat and has a good giggle from it...
