oblivion bars were all dark..and brownish okay and a little red if you did the daedric stuff.
fallout 3 was like everything people wore was either black or brown. and the scenery was monotone. hell even 17th century native americans discovered how to mix plant dyes and make beautiful clothes.
i am really hoping skyrim takes advantage of the hundreds of beautiful colors available to it's fans who are not color challenged. i'd like to see neon pink tshirts on the bar maids, or shiny white leather shoes, or horse saddles in any other color except brown or black. just more variety in colors please.
also in the world of magic, yes a 4 wheel car would not fit, but you should at least have a magic carpet like in wow. it will stay on the same z-scale so it's not for levitation but its a nice alternative choice to horses.
the townsfolk...please please let them walk with normal looking animations, oblivion's townfolk was acceptable but red dead redemptions was the best cause they seemed the most realistic. i recal in fallout 3 thirdperson view, the char seemed to float on the floor and had like animation to walk in 90 degree angles.
