[Design] Colour Blind Players Unable To See Green Highlights

FAO of the guy who designed the interface for Fallout Shelter!

One of the objectives of your game is to "Put X amount of dwellers into their correct room". For me, that is next to impossible.

In fact, I really thought that you had forgotten to include a way of figuring out which room they should be put into... but apparently you DID include a mechanic that lets you see the correct room...

But guess what. You made it so around 5% of the male population cannot even SEE that the highlight box actually turns green when you drag a dweller over the correct room.

When you have red/green colour blindness it totally messes up your colour perception and certain colours are indistinguishable from others while some colours go invisible because the you don't have enough cones in your retinas. Cones see the colours while Rods and more sensitive to light but don't see colour very well.

It means I miss out on some colours but have excellent night vision  Unfortunately it doesn't help to play games....

Being one of the 5% with this red/green colour blindness I had to use a friend to help me out with the "Put the dweller in their correct room" objective. All because the highlight always stays yellow for me. I don't see the green at all.

It doesn't mean I cannot see red and green.... it just means I have problems distinguishing shades of colours that are NEAR red and green. so I have problems differentiating between yellow and green... and occasionally mix up red and green even though they are apparently quite different. Yeah... does my head in too. In fact when I was told at school that I had colour blindness after doing the coloured spot test I laughed it off and said "BUT I CAN SEE COLOUR".

Suggestion: Perhaps make a colour blind option for your game where you turn the highlights... blue... that is, when you find the right room?

That must be difficult. I think Bethesda should be able to add color schemes in a future update. You may not be able to fly a fighter jet but you should be able to become a successful overseer of your own vault.
