I've never really been a fan of the combat animations in Morrowind the swings and such don't look like actual fighting, I tried Combat Redefined but I got tired of manually unequipping my shield every single time I went out of battle, I had to do that because of the first person animations it added on top of combat animations. I've have heard of other combat animation mods but never actually seen specific examples. So I am just asking if anyone out there knows of combat animation mod.

From quality of animations, you ain't gonna find anything better than what you're using. There's no mod that upgrades combat animations to Oblivion/Skyrim level.

On a historical and realistic point Skyrim has some pretty bad animations, like the way you hold all the weapons like bats and make epic movements easily telegraphing your attacks try turning around while attacking in a real fight and see where that gets yah.
