Your silly shoulders will protect me!

What armor do you think has silly out of place parts?

I agree but i think mark1(the grey one) on the other hand looks great.
And think the giant shoulder thing on the remnants armour is ugly and so is the helmet *starts running away from a vertebird while dodging plasma* :bolt:

It reminds me of a turtle with the way the plates on it are shaped.

You guys are thinking of the green Reinforced Combat Armor Mk.I is some posts.

T-45d's chassis looks a little strange sometimes to me anyway.

Unless your crouching down or in a prone position those MK2 shoulder pads are gonna do squat to protect you. It would be more practical if it actually protected the shoulder.
The way it bounces up and down as you are running looks so stupid.

T-45d is a little unattractive from the back, but looks so damn glorious from the front.

I love the Remnant's Power Armor, it makes you look like a total bad ass futuristic soldier unlike that other tech suit (*cough* Tron suit)

T-51b looks great, but a little bulky. If it were slimmed down a bit, it would be sweetest looking thing in the game.

That it is. :P

I never liked the reinforced metal helmet. Horns, really? Ridiculous. Also hate the Mk2 Combat armor, is that what it is? I always try to avoid that ugly thing.

Fiends' Helmets. I wouldn't wear them even if they gave me 5000000 DT.
Metal Armor and Helmet. Looks bad and has a weak DT.

Maybe the shoulders are floatation devices?

Well it's hard to make something look cool. It can't be too much, yet still look different. It can't be too little, but still has to be realistic.
Then you get certain instances where they try to make it look realistic and make it too much.

I think the whole fantasy shoulder-pad thing is incredibly silly, in all games that every used them. Look at any real armor suit from ye olden days, or from modern combat armors used by the world's militaries, and you will not see anything remotely resembling any of the twaddle they've created in today's fantasy shoulder pad art. Between anime and warcraft and countless other fantastical armor imaginings, most people have no idea what real shoulder armor looks like, past or present. Combat isn't football, and you don't try to 'tackle' your opponents in life or death struggles with any kind of weapon. Not unless you are a total tahrd looking to earn a box on your first mission. Damn things are just goofy, plain and simple.

The helmet is badass, but the body armor is the definition of out of place parts. IMO

If going with combat armor I go with the Van Graff combat armor. Looks great in black. Though I mostly roll with Joshua Graham's armor.

That Back part on the Enclave Remnant armor kills the look completely... I feel like I have elongated shoulders with it on, even considered ditching it.

Although recon armor looks like it would serve its purpose inside power armor, it just looks ridiculous.

Not fan of many of the higher-end armors in the game. I stick to classics, such as Leather armor and regular (or Van Graff) combat armor.
