Combat Encounters

One of the problems i had with oblivion was that the fights were all one dimensional. The enemy would see you, run at you and continue to throw themselves at you until you kill them. I think it would be nice if different creatures engaged you in there own ways.

For example encountering a wolf it might circle you and howl alerting its pack and once injured it would attempt to escape, a minatore might roar trying to intimidate you before charging straight at you with those huge horns and once injure it might flail around trying to kill you, a bear might just look at you and go about his business, a mountain lion might try to stalk you before pouncing, bandits could beg for their lives or become enraged when you plunge your blade into his bandit friend.

Your thoughts?

i think it's been confirmed that wildlife isn't immediately hostile to you but don't quote me on that

also the trailer showed a wolf circling the player so maybe they circle the player

They've said enemies will have different behaviours, and that some will only attacked if forced (for food) or provoked (because you're being a nuisance :P ). Hopefully that stretched to attack tactics too - I'm sure packs of wolves out hunting for food has been mentioned, so maybe...

I read about it in the Aussie GI. While some enemies may see you and move on others might instantly attack you.
