Combat troubles.

The title's a bit of an exaggeration: I can swing my sword, but not with any reliability. Sometimes clicking and dragging works. Mostly, it doesn't. Does anyone have any tips or solutions?

Also, my red bar (my health?) tends to slowly drop in the newbie dungeon for no apparent reason. Could someone enlighten me as to what's going on?

The red bar is your fatigue and you always have to click(hold) and drag to attack and make sure your using a weapon you have experience with.

Red bar is fatigue, the green bar is health in Daggerfall.

As for swinging the sword, are you dragging with the right mouse button? You don't even have to let go of the button, just hold it down and drag it side to side to keep swinging.

I am using the right mouse button and dragging. I'm not sure if I'm initially clicking in the wrong spot or if this is a bug or what.

I was wondering if maybe the red bar was fatigue. It just goes down with time?

EDIT: Hmm, nevermind. I seem to be slowly getting the hang of it.
