After Come Fly with me is completed, I go down to check on Chris, and he keeps saying that that the great journey will soon begin.

"If you complete the quest, and the rockets fly succesfully, sometimes Chris Haversam will just stand there and tell you that the great journey will soon begin."


Does anyone know of a fix? Or a way to make sure this dosnt happend? I dont mind going back some saves to get it solved.

It doesnt really matter much, since you can only tell him that he should go live among humans again, and thats about all the dealings you will have with Chris in the game.

Does it affect Novac in anyway if I can't talk to him?

Like, will they not register that he is there or something unless I do?

Or will they still think he is there even if he's not

I hope someone can give a reply to this, since it would really sooth my completionist mind ^^ I hate feeling like im missing something

I ran into this, seems to happen if you don't talk to him after the ghoul's speech and before you initiate the launch. Does affect your reputation with the town.

I've tried not talking to him after the Speech from that glowing ghoul, and i've also tried talking to him after the speech. Same result each way.

No one know a fix to this? Or some kind of more information?

Weird. I ran thru that sequence several times due to the corrupt save issue and the only time he bugged like that was when I forgot to talk to him before initiating the launch.

But I'd really like some more info on it before I do anything.

Can anyone tell what I get from talking with him AFTER the launch? Does something happend? What does he say/do? What does other say/do? Or will they still think(the people in novac) that he is still there even though he's glitched out?

Convincing him to return to Novac improves your reputation with them. As far as I can tell that's all you gain from doing it.

Right well I mean, I already did tell him that he should go there, but he wanted to help them out into the rockets first. So after I did that, I went back down to check on him, and he was just talking about the great journey is soon going to begin <.<

Was just wondering if there was more to it or if it's worth it trying to re-do the entire mission or what not.
