i've searched the forum, there's a lot of bugs with this quest, none mentioned the trouble i'm having.

i've been down here in the basemant since last night. 5 hours searching for invisible nightkin. davidson is dead. i haven't seen the jailor yet. i have ED-E too. does anyone know the ref for the jailor so i can console him in? or a code to skip this part of the quest?

Why do you need the jailor?
For the key down to the basemant?
Just use tcl down there.
Or if you need to kill one final Nightkin then just tcl through the entire cell while constantly clicking the VATS key.

tried all of that. also tried to spawn via console commands, no joy. eventually got stuff to respawn (left the area, 3 in game days wait) and that got me the kill i needed, along with everything else i'd cleared on the way in

This is why no matter what I'm role playing as, I will always kill the ghoul and let the nightkins know that the stealthboys are somewhere else. That part of the quest was always bugging out for me. Also I get lost in that maze.

Shotgun rampage in Bright's camp is the only solution.
