Come Up With the Worst Story for Fallout 4

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 3:08 am

Soon after you are leaving the Vault you got shot in the head and you don't remember anything about your past anymore. But it isn't allowed to be called amnesia because amnesia is a cheap overused plot device.

At least it allows you to forget all that past crap and can make your own character.

Then you get some clues to get your revenge. You know revenge that absolutely not over used plot device. To help you out and so that newbs don't have troubles with the game a robot follows you arround and fights for you if you get in trouble, which isn't a carbon copy from a another game, absolutly not.

After you made your way through a linear path (that sure can be cheated because a invisible wall was forget to set) you reach the big city. Get your Fallout typical conversation with a big computer which isn't a big computer (except most of the time you talk to him) and get your revenge.

Then a ton of meaningless little bringin and go there and there quests happen. But hey they are a ton of quests which are clogging your pipboy and they are more then ever.

Then tells you the game developer that you are actually a greedy bastard which doesn't appreciate glorious game design who he think is hard. Learn about religion because you know these gamers have no idea about religion and its such a great game making concept. Get some very bad collegue humor jokes ...you know the [censored] ones... to end with nuking the whole thing again because actually the game developer doesn't know much todo with the Fallout universe anymore.

Not without adding a past to you again ... which surprise, surprise, ... you didn't know about and it was never intended to slap on the player (as promised a thousend times before release)... But you know the player doesn't know how to play and appreciate that glorious game so let the game devoloper great big NPC do it.

Ooops I think that was already done  . (Btw. you can do that stuff with every game or artwork in existence, it's not my full opinion about NV only a demonstration of the method.)

That sounds like a damned good game. I'd play the hell out of it.

Yeah I love invisible walls (without context) and cliched story premises too  .

I never said I did. Luckily, I don't see much of the latter in the game you described.

Moira Brown comes out and says, "I would have been a great adventurer but I took an arrow to the knee."

The game effectively turns into a kindergarten-esque moral story. In order to stop the villains, your character must use the power of love to teach the evildoers the importance of kindness, togetherness, respect, and responsibility.

In my game he got hit with a rocket within the first 5 minutes and had several crippled limbs. Didn't stop him from having to attack every last thing that looked at him funny though. Was great watching him go to rivet city, I mostly just watched. The way I see it a man who is willing to drag his half dead body across the wastes just to fix a damn over grown brita is an inspiration to us all. Man had determination.

The more you play, the more visual abnormalities you noticed, the game ends with you realised you are just a brain in a jar hooked up to VR.

Your baby got taken from the vault by some random dweller and became a super mutant and you need to find your son /daughter and reconnect and live happily ever after with your disfunctional family on the run from Brotherhood of Steel due to your child being a super mutant, or you can choose to destroy the wasteland so that it is full of radiation and by doing that you make it safe for your child.

Worst story. Here it goes.

Once upon a time... there was like these 2 guys and they were wandering around and stuff. Then, the one guy shot something. The other guy freaked out and started throwing grenades, which was causing like, explosions and stuff. In the distance a mole rat cried out in pain.

The End.

You are a undead magic wizard with guns.

And you have to save the dog from the enclave in order to fly to the moon.

You wake up in a Vault full of people at war, one side telling you that you should be one way to be uninspired and unchanging like them because it's how 'True Vault Dwellers' live. The other say you should always be random Vault Dwellers. You eventually realised both sides of the Vault's insane civil war are a mass of unpleasable ninnies and go out into the Wasteland on your own to enjoy the Wasteland in the way you want to have fun.

Sole Survivor wakes up to find Martin Septim looking over her with a concerned look on his face. “Are you all right?” he asks you. “You were muttering things about zombies and world-ending apocalypses. Perhaps you should rest for a few days. I'll spend that time studying the Mysterium Xarxes.”

The Sole Survivor then shoots him because Sean Bean is contractually obligated to die in every role.

You come out of cryo. Everyone already left, but left you because your unit was stuck [censored].
You learn your child changed his name to James and went to DC, Nora's severed head being a trophy for a serial killer, and the main plot revolving around curing a bad case of freezer burn.
