Coming back to modded Oblivion and in need of help

Hello Oblivion community!
I come before thee to humbly ask lotsa question =]
I tried to mod oblivion a lot last year, but then I thought that something was wrong with FCOM for some reason and tried to tinker with the bashed patch... well, my game got screwed somehow and I gave up... until now!
So I came here to ask a few questions regarding compatibility mostly as follows:
- Dungeon / exterior actors have torches. Should I get them or COBL or any of the mods I have does that? I honestly can’t remember everything every mod does... sorry =/
- NGCD or Realistic leveling? They both seems to do the same...
- Which Magic overhaul should I use? What I want for magic overhaul is: more powerful and new spells to buy/learn (no Midas Magic, please... I never liked that mod for some reason) that can take on the world on a normal gameplay (slider on the middle or a little bit to the right...) and the mods mentioned below... I read in another topic that Supreme Magicka and LAME can be used together, but I would have to tinker a little bit with SM to make both work together. Anything special I should be aware about? hints? (haven’t even read the readme files for any yet, so ignore this if everything is explained in there.
- All natural along with cava obscura for darker dungeons and overworld? Or does All Natural already makes everything darker?
- Is Immersive caves bug free and compatible with the mods I listed? It’s an old mod afterall...
- Know any mod that let me put robes over armor? I can't post links for some reason, but it's called Robes over armour (suggestive...) , but it leaves a few npcs that normally wear robes, naked!
- There is a guide that teaches how to properly install FCOM and it instructs me to rebuild the bashed patch everytime i run BOSS... really? even if I install a simple mod like one that adds moustaches to dremoras, and run BOSS after, naturally, must I do all that process (select, check, merge, etc etc)? That’s not THAT bad but what about all the other mods that might use the bashed patch? rebuild them too? geez... What is the bashed patch anyway? I have the pictorial guide, but haven’t read it yet. Is the answer there? Also, can I use Abigails’ simple method? (can't post links x/
- Are all the sound mods I listed compatible (Oblivion stereo sound overhaul, Symphony of violence and Sounds of cyrodill)? As far as I know, they work together, but I have to install Oblivion Stereo Overhaul first.
- Can I install whichever textures I want and put them one on top of another without fear? I read I should install QTP first and them put everything else on top of it to make the game graphics tolerable...
-... Streamline or Auto save and time? I heard they do the same...
- And for last: I've put a few remarks on the mod list itself, so if you could anolize it, I would appreciate ^^
